Four plus size Thanksgiving Day outfit ideas. Each for a different climate.

If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you know that I usually publish multiple outfit suggestions for Thanksgiving Day each year.

For Your Climate

Historically, I’ve included several options for those of you in warm(er) climates, called the “Southern Editions.”

But starting in 2018, I created variations of the same look: Warmest, Warmer, Warm, and the Southern Edition.

And based on responses to my Instagram stories, you want to see them again!

So essentially these are the same outfit ideas with minor details changed to accommodate whatever the weather and temperatures might be in your region!

Warmest Outfit Details

For the warmest outfit idea, start with a pair of plus size faux leather pants and a plus size grey cashmere turtleneck sweater.

Then top with a plus size black velvet blazer.

J.Crew Pants Sizing

By the way, these pants are from J.Crew, which now has many items in plus sizes up to a size 24 or 3X.

Their sizing is comparable to Lane Bryant.

One thing to note is that some of their pants and jeans come by waist sizing (vanity), so check the size chart below to see which size you are.

Accessories

As for the accessories, they are the same, regardless of your climate…

So each look is topped with a pair of statement earrings.

These crystal gunmetal beauties will glam up your ensemble and look amazing with these silvery crystal embellished flats.

Or vamp up some flats you already have by adding a crystal shoe clip. I love to save a little money while still looking like expensive.

Lastly, add an on-trend oversized metallic clutch bag. So chic!

Beauty

First, these looks are screaming for a smokey eye! And if you can’t get a bit glam during the holiday, then when can you?

So I included this smokey eye palette from Kylie Cosmetics. Although I do not have this exact palette, I do have others from Kylie and the quality is there.

Second, nothing says “holiday” like a bold red lip, so try this matte lipstick in “Devoted.”

This red lipstick is a “true red,” and should compliment any skin tone.

If you’re looking to save a few bucks, my favorite affordable red matte is “Always Red,” from Sephora.

It has a very neutral undertone and dries down without overly drying my lips.
