Outfit 1 Details

Both of these fall looks include this v-neck sweater and these olive green wide leg pants.

But, for this first look, layer this gorgeous magenta cashmere v-neck sweater over a white button down shirt.

These colors look so amazing together because they’re complementary colors.  They pop! next to each other.

J.Crew Sizing

Speaking of the wide leg pants, they are from J.Crew.  

In case you haven’t heard, J.Crew now has many items in plus sizes up to a size 24 or 3X. 

Their sizing is comparable to Lane Bryant. 

One thing to note is that some of their pants and jeans come by waist sizing (vanity), so check the size chart below to see which size you are.

Accessories

Add some rich warm brown accessories like these designer sunglasses in “Havana.”

Or try these for a more affordable option.

This quilted suede shoulder bag is stunning.  Ahhhhh!

Then add some brown suede heels.

If heels aren’t your thing, try these sling back flats.

Jewelry

The jewelry: gold modern classics.

For earrings some trendy huggie gold hoops. Or try these for a similar but more affordable look.

Then go with my classic gold wrist stack, including this Tory Burch watch and bangle bracelet.

And now add a set of gold rings you can stack!

Lastly, I added a gorgeous gold tiger’s eye statement ring. 

Beauty

Add a bold matte lip in a “rich berry pink” called “Warm Leatherette.”

As for the perfume, Lancôme’s “La Vie Est Belle” Eau de Parfum has become a recent favorite.

Seriously, I’m shocked at how much this perfume has become my “go to.”

It’s a great scent for fall and winter with notes of Iris, Earthy Patchouli, Warm Vanilla & Spun Sugar.

It’s feminine but strong. 

But, if it’s over your budget or you just want to try it “guilt free,” perhaps try Dossier’s “Gourmand Orange Blossom.”

As I have mentioned many times, I have tried several of Dossier’s scents and think they are fantastic for a fraction of the price.

Outfit 2 Details

This second look features the same magenta v-neck sweater and green wide leg pants, but this ensemble is a little more low key.

As always, I like to give more ideas on how to wear things.

Swap the shoulder bag for a tote and the heels for some tan ballet flats.

I chose these uber comfortable Tieks flats.

Tieks & My Wide Feet

I was recently gifted a pair of Tieks.

I have wide width feet and typically wear a size 7.5W in ballet flats.

I was told if you have wide feet to size up a half size.

And the size 8 fit!  And they are cute and comfortable!

Jewelry

I kept the jewelry trendy, gold, and fairly understated.

 Starting with these gold huggie earrings.

Or try these for a similar but more affordable look.

And I love this on-trend gold “nugget” necklace.

I also recommend you try this one, which is more affordable and a long-time reader favorite.

For the wrist, stack on some trendy stretchy bracelets.

I have these, which fit my slightly-larger-than-average wrists with plenty of room.

And finish the jewelry with a gold dome ring.

Lip Gloss Stick: A New Fave

I recently tried the YSL lippie “Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick” in “Showcasing Nude” and must say that I like this formula better than my favorite YSL lippies!  Double gasp!

I added this “lip gloss stick” in “Watermelon High.”

It seems to be as moisturizing as the Loveshine Lip Oil Sticks but with a better glossy finish.

They don’t last very long on the lips, but the moisture does, for sure.

Anyway, I know they are crazy expensive!  Like, bonkers.  But, they are SO good!

If you’re in the market for a bougie splurge, maybe give them a try?

Perfume: Le Labo’s Santal 33.

For the scent, I included one of the most-loved fragrances from Le Labo: Santal 33.

Santal 33 is a unisex fragrance described as “captures a defining image of the spirit of the American West.” 

Essentially, it smells like you bottled the aura of a hippie’s spirit animal with the collective mood of Burning Man, then added some sandalwood.

If it’s over your budget, I highly recommend you try the Dossier version or the Twist version.

Both brands make fragrances inspired by designer scents.

I tried the brand Dossier.  I ordered a bunch of their scents.  And so far, I love them!
