A plus size airport outfit for my “plus size on a budget series!”

Stay comfortable and wrinkle free all while staying chic. Oh yeah, and on a budget!

My “Disclaimer”
I want to prevent some anticipated feedback. So please keep these things in mind:
- “Budget” is relative. Some people easily spend $300 on sunglasses, while other people allocate $300 for their annual clothing budget.
- You may be able to find these items elsewhere for less. These are just some “budget-friendly” finds I have come across. And I typically don’t link to clearance items because they sell out and then people are disappointed. Also, I have no way of linking to thrift stores, but obviously, if you want to check out your local thrift stores, I think that is a great idea!
- Recycle & reuse. As with all of my posts, I hope that you can use the pieces you already have in your wardrobe. Additionally, I assume that you can reuse all of the pieces below in other combinations with things in your closet to create a variety of looks. Meaning, I think it is unfair to judge the expense of one outfit as though that is the only way to wear the pieces.
“Base” Outfit Details
This “base outfit” starts with this adorable and on-trend coordinating set (pullover, joggers) in a neutral taupe color.
Love it! I also love the “Sandwashed Black” color, which I plan to style here on the blog soon.
Keep the look chill and easy with some trendy low profile sneakers.
And cover any bad hair day situations from sleeping on a plane, train, or automobile with a baseball cap.
Accessories
For a handbag, go for this quilted hobo bag in black. This look is all about effortlessness.
Add some classic aviator sunglasses– you cannot beat this price!
Add some simple gold jewelry, like these affordable gold hoops, which are small enough to keep you comfortable while using a travel pillow.
Stack on some gold rings and a stretch gold bracelet for some final touches.
Perfume
I love a lovely feminine scent with an athleisure ensemble.
For this look, I chose one of my favorite scents: Chloe’s Chloe, but the Dossier version, for those on a budget.
I’ve tried several fragrances by the perfume brand, Dossier. And so far, I love them!
I have Dossier’s “Floral Peony,” which is inspired by Chloe’s Chloe and it’s pretty amazing!
Oh la la! A luxury scent at a fraction of the price!

Layered Outfit Details
Top this easy and comfortable athleisure set (pullover, joggers) with a classy black trench coat as needed.
A trench is a great choice because it never goes out of style. And it offers a light layer and protection from rain.
Plus, it covers up any ensemble to make you immediately look pulled together, even if you spilled coffee down the front of your top. Speaking from experience here. Lol.

Travel Outfit Details
I wanted to really take this idea to the next level by adding some luggage.
This carry-on rolling suitcase in “champagne” will look so lovely with this set (pullover, joggers).
Add a coordinating larger checked rolling suitcase for longer trips.
And lastly grab a weekend duffle bag like this one with a strap to attach to your suitcase trolly.
You can truly look like you have you sh!t together without breaking the bank!
