Two plus size green work pants outfits for my “plus size on a budget series!”
Plus Size on a Budget – Green Work Pants

My “Disclaimer”
I want to prevent some anticipated feedback. So please keep these things in mind:
- “Budget” is relative. Some people easily spend $300 on sunglasses, while other people allocate $300 for their annual clothing budget.
- You may be able to find these items elsewhere for less. These are just some “budget-friendly” finds I have come across. And I typically don’t link to clearance items because they sell out and then people are disappointed. Also, I have no way of linking to thrift stores, but obviously, if you want to check out your local thrift stores, I think that is a great idea!
- Recycle & reuse. As with all of my posts, I hope that you can use the pieces you already have in your wardrobe. Additionally, I assume that you can reuse all of the pieces below in other combinations with things in your closet to create a variety of looks. Meaning, I think it is unfair to judge the expense of one outfit as though that is the only way to wear the pieces.
Outfit 1 Details
You know I’m obsessed with pink and green… so this ensemble quickly came to mind when I saw these green pants.
Top the pants with a pale pink cable knit sweater, layered over a white collared shirt. So preppy and profesh!
Add some beautiful green loafers. I like the matching loafers to help elongate the leg. But, if that’s too “matchy-matchy” for you, go with brown or tan shoes.
Next, throw on a tan belt and top the look with a plus size camel coat as needed.
Then go with a tan tote bag that looks far more expensive than it is (my favorite kind!)
Tie it all together with a floral scarf. As always, you can wear the scarf in your hair, over a ponytail, around the neck, around the wrist, even around the handle of the tote bag.
Beauty
Add a moisturizing lip oil with a hint of sparkle and color this one called “Candy Coded.”
As for the perfume, it’s my longtime “signature scent.”
I have been in love with this fragrance, Vera Wang, since college.
It may smell “dated” but I always get compliments on it.
And the best part is that now it’s inexpensive.

This second look is less colorful but still bright and exciting!
Add a matching green sweater. Is it matchy-matchy, yes? Do I care? No!
You can add a leopard scarf to add more interest.
