Outfit 1 Details

Both of these look feature this totally on-trend and totally flattering smocked top, available in sizes XS – 3X.

It’s a beautiful “berry” pink color with an elbow-length sleeve and a peplum ruffle waist.  I love!

In this first look, I added a pair of plus size white denim shorts.

The shorts have a 7″ inseam.  Try these for a 9″ inseam.

Accessories

Top the look with some designer square sunglasses.  Or try these for a more affordable price.

Add a straw tote, I love this one with blue croc-embossed leather handles.  So chic!

Finish the look with some flat raffia sandals.  Do you notice the “toe ring” detail?  Love!

Jewelry

The layers of necklaces make this outfit stand out.

I mixed some on-trend tennis necklaces with some trendy colorful necklaces, including this look and looped turquoise beaded necklace.

The key is to vary the lengths, so I added this long chain with a gold pendant necklace.

Add some bold gold hoop earrings. 

Or try my favorite inexpensive versions (I have these earrings in all four sizes).

I added in some more color with this stretch enamel bamboo bracelet set.

And this turquoise ring.

Bronzer

I have recently featured this Nars bronzer in this post and this post.

Point is, I have become a bit obsessed.  I was always a Park Avenue Princess [fan].

But, I became reacquainted with the iconic Nars bronzer in it’s original shade: Laguna 02, which is a light-medium bronze with neutral undertones.

I was surprised to see this bronzer now comes in 9 shades.  Wow!  Something for everyone.

I think Nars nailed the undertone for my neutral skin tone and it has less “glow” than Tarte’s Park Avenue Princess.

It’s finely milled and looks beautiful.  If you’re on a budget, I highly recommend Physician’s Formula’s Butter Bronzer.

Lip Gloss Stick: A New Fave

I know that I used to talk about my favorite lipsticks all the time… and then YSL discontinued them.  Gasp! 

But these YSL Loveshine Lip Oil Sticks are the same formula with a new scent!  I ordered and tried my favorite shade, Nude Lavalliere, from Sephora. and can confirm they are the same!

However, I also tried this YSL lippie “Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick” in “Showcasing Nude” and must say that I like this formula better.  Double gasp!

It seems to be as moisturizing as the Loveshine Lip Oil Sticks but with a better glossy finish.

They don’t last very long on the lips, but the moisture does, for sure.

Anyway, I know they are crazy expensive!  Like, bonkers.  But, they are SO good!

If you’re in the market for a bougie splurge, maybe give them a try?

Perfume

I added one of my favorite feminine and floral scents: Dior’s J’adore Eau Lumière.

This fragrance is light making it a great choice for summer.  I am terrible at describing scents, so more here.

I always get compliments when wearing this citrus and floral scent!

Outfit 2 Details

This second look has a lot of similarities to the first, including the same plus size pink smocked top.

This time, I paired it with some white denim jeans and the same raffia flat sandals and designer sunnies as in look 1.

I added a statement multi-strand turquoise necklace for an instant pop of color.

But, the pièce de résistance is this stunning, head-turning, raffia fringe crescent tote bag.  OMG!

However, it is pricey!

Like I said, this statement necklace adds bold color, as does this statement turquoise ring.

The turquoise of the necklace and ring really make the pink of the smocked top POP!

For the rest of the jewelry I opted for some classic gold pieces.

For earrings some trendy huggie gold hoops. Or try these for a similar but more affordable look.

Then I picked a stack of oversized gold bangles and a gold dome ring.

So chic!

Perfume

As for the perfume, Kilian Paris’s “Love, don’t be shy” Perfume has become a recent favorite.

It’s a sophisticated orange blossom perfume with marshmallow notes and a warm amber base. 

Not your typical citrus perfume, but a sexy and elevated smell!

If you’re feeling bougie it’s definitely worth the splurge.

However, I know it is pricy so if the price is over budget or you just want to try it “guilt free,” perhaps try Dossier’s “Floral Marshmallow.”

As I have mentioned many times, I have tried several of Dossier’s scents and think they are fantastic for a fraction of the price.
