How cute is this plus size midi skirt? When I saw it, I felt so inspired to come up with a plus size spring work outfit. I choose bright colors that coordinated with the threads in the skirt to liven things up. I own the pink flats, which also come in wide width. They are super comfortable and make a great work shoe.
Cardigan Options
The matching yellow cardigan is beautiful, but if cashmere is out of your budget, I found a lovely cotton option as an alternative. I also wanted to mention this cropped cardigan, which I have in several colors. While I do recommend them, their quality is commensurate with their amazing price. If you “baby” them, meaning hand-wash and lay flat to dry, they will last longer. I find that they begin to pill when washing in a machine. They’re comparable in quality to these from ModCloth, but at a better price.

so cute and springy! i just need to get the skirt. i am a little concerned about the puckering in the front of the skirt- hopefully it will iron out. i don’t have pink shoes, but i do have a pink sweater and linen colored flats with yellow on the toe caps. i think i could just flip the colored pieces. i think this would travel well too. thanks for the idea.

I would advise playing with it and seeing what looks best on your shape. I am a “new apple” so for me, this would look best worn high-waisted with the shirt tucked in and the cardigan hanging over.
