These plus size cardigan work outfit ideas follow a simple “formula” of a coordinating necklace with coordinating trousers. So easy! I chose a dolman cardigan for a modern twist, but any cardi will do! So look in your closet and see what you might have to copy these looks.

A statement necklace, colorful or monochromatic, short or long, can go a long way to making a work outfit interesting. Your other accessories can be basics like stud earrings, simple bracelets and a basic work tote. I especially like this tote because it has adjustable over-the-shoulder handles.

As for shoes, I like to coordinate with the pant color to elongate the leg. Choose a pump for added height or a flat for comfort.

These “work outfits” are really great looking! The only thing I would change would be sleeves on the white blouses. Like the look; really put together in black or blue pants!

i really like this look, but can’t wear the mustardy brown color. what would be a good color swap for the cardigan- burgundy/merlot or maybe a burnt orange? i guess i could swap the color of the pants and cardigan around so the brownish color would not be near my face.
