Outfit 1 Details

If your school allows you to wear jeans, these dark wash bootcut jeans are a great choice.

I think the dark wash looks a little more polished than a lighter wash, just my opinion.

If however, you cannot wear jeans, try black flare leg trousers instead.

Top the denim with a classic blue striped shirt.   I love that the this blouse has a more open neck than a typical collared shirt.

Now make this look more interesting with some silver and black accessories.

Accessories

Add a black belt with silver buckle.  If you need help finding plus size belts, go here.

Now add some real interest with some flat silver mules.  So chic!

And then add a designer-inspired tote bag at a very affordable price.

Next, top the look with these black cat eye sunglasses.

Jewelry

Silver!  Yes, I get a lot of requests for silver, but rarely listen.  Lol.  (Sorry, guys!)

So I added some trendy chunky silver hoop earrings.

Then I opted for a chunky link bracelet with an extender so it should fit most wrists.

And then I added a sculptural silver ring, which I really like.

Jewelry Care

The aforementioned beauties are very affordable because they’re plated, so you might need to “baby” them for longevity.

Avoid the obvious: showers, pools, hot tubs, spraying your wrist with perfume while wearing them.

Store them in air-tight plastic bags, if possible.  This will keep the gold plating from damage and tarnishing.

Beauty

Throw on a medium nude lip if you want to add a bit of color. 

The perfume I featured is from Dossier, which makes designer-inspired fragrances.

I ordered a bunch of Dossier’s scents. And I love them!  In my opinion, they last on the skin as long as the fragrances they are inspired by.

This featured perfume is Dossier’s “Gourmand Orange Blossom,” which is inspired by Lancôme’s “La Vie Est Belle” Eau de Parfum.

This stunning fragrance has notes of Iris, Earthy Patchouli, Warm Vanilla & Spun Sugar.  It’s feminine but strong. 

As I have mentioned many times, I have tried several of Dossier’s scents and think they are fantastic for a fraction of the price.

This next outfit idea features the same blue striped shirt.

But, this time I paired it with some black ankle pants and some burgundy accessories.

Add a burgundy belt, suede flats, and croco-embossed tote bag.  Oh yeah, and sunglasses.

Perfume

As for the perfume, it’s my longtime “signature scent.”

I have been in love with this fragrance, Vera Wang, since college.

It may smell “dated” but I always get compliments on it.

And the best part is that now it’s inexpensive.
