As you can see a great scarf has the ability to take some basics to the next level!

Scarves

I mean a beautiful scarf can really pull an outfit together.  And the scarves made by Nordstrom’s “in house” brands are stunning!  And I’m so impressed with the quality, especially for the price.

My mom and I bought some of Nordstrom brand silk chiffon scarves last year and were blown away.  The high-quality textiles really make a difference in how the scarves lay and move.

I know this because we also purchased some other chiffon scarves to compare and could really see a difference.  These scarves just look so “rich.”  They really elevate any look.

Outfit Details

So these outfits, while comprised of basics, are anything but basic.  And they are an easy “formula” to follow.

Choose a denim bottom such as this adorable denim skirt or some bootcut jeans.  Add a white t-shirt.  And top with a neutral cardigan, such as this grey lightweight cardi.

If you’re in colder climates, opt for long sleeve t-shirt to give you added warmth.

Accessories

Nordstrom made brands also make some amazing accessories.  They range from the Nordstrom signature luxury items, like this pebbled leather crossbody bag, to the trendy BP line.

For these looks, I chose some trendy thick hoop earrings, square sunglasses, and black stacked heel mules.  These pieces are made by BP. and are so “right now” and reasonably priced.
