A plus size red plaid vest outfit for fall and winter in case you love tartan and vests as much as I do! While my first inclination is to style this vest as preppily [is that a word?] as possible, I decided that was too obvious a choice.
After all, you’ve seen many of my preppy vest outfits. So instead I opted to go for a modern take on the “lady lumberjack” theme. Lol.
No really, I think this look works so well with distressed black skinny jeans and hiker booties with red laces. So cute!
Accessories
For accessories, I added a luxe hobo bag with contrasting topstitching to complete the “craftsman vibe.”
Of course, I had to throw in some designer shades. But, if they are out of your budget, check out these! I have and love them.
Top with a fur pompom beanie and some simple gold jewelry. And voilà, you’re ready for a mountain adventure or chic city snow day!
