A plus size plaid coat outfit for fall into winter. This double-breasted coat will turn heads with its midi length and black and white check design. Such a great statement piece!
I paired the beautiful coat with a mid-rise, distressed and frayed, straight leg jean. I am so in love with these jeans, but do note that they do not stretch. The should fit hourglass and pear shapes easily, but should be sized up. Apple shapes should consider similar jeans with stretch, like these.
Juxtapositions
I love mixing classic pieces, like a button down and cable knit sweater, with edgier pieces, like ripped jeans. As I have said many times here, fashion lives in these juxtapositions. And to keep things a bit dramatic, I added a Burberry check bag. Although it doesn’t follow all of my mixing prints “rules,” I think it works!
