Plus Size Red Orange Jeans {4 Ways}
Color Theory
Although it may seem like I just added some neutrals (camo and denim) to the red-orange jeans in this first look, there is actually a split complementary relationship between these colors: red-orange, blue, and green.
No clue what I am talking about?
Brush up on your color theory here.
The split complementary relationship is the reason these colors “harmonize.”
When you look at a color wheel, you can see that blue and green fall just to the side of the complementary color, blue-green, which is across from red-orange on the wheel.
Camo Tank
As you know, I love camo! You can see other plus size camo looks here. This plus size camo tank is adorable and long, love that!
But I would suggest you layer a black cami or tank under it for more coverage because it was designed to be a piece of active wear with a sports bra or tank under.

Again, I’m going to reference color theory, which is really important when it comes to mixing bright colors together without using pattern or print.
These colors, red-orange and blue-green, have a complementary relationship, meaning they are across from one another on the color wheel.
This relationship makes them visually “pop” when next to each other.
If you live in a climate which is too warm for cotton sweaters in the spring, top with a similar color tee instead.
