Let me preface this with what I regularly say when creating a capsule: I am NOT a minimalist.

If you’re looking for a minimalist capsule, I’m not your girl.

I am an unapologetic clothes horse.

Every closet in my house, plus a spare bedroom, plus half of my dining room, is full of clothes! (I need an intervention.)

So this is a collection of ‘mix and match’ outfit ideas for spring and summer athleisure.

So lets start with the bottom half of the chic plus size Adidas tracksuit: the plus size flared pants.

They are pricey, no doubt. But, they will last forever!

The quality is insane. I bought my mother a pair of their leggings years ago (she is also obsessed), and they’re still going strong even though she wears them all the time.

I now have many of their leggings and flares and think they’re totally worth the price, in my opinion. So good!

Accessories

I love how the colors in the accessories can all be mixed and matched!

And I love that you can see the bright turquoise of this bralette under this plus size black tank top with T-back.

This combo tank & bralette goes so well with both the yellow sneakers and coral sneakers.

Also, the black flip flops work too…

Sling Bags

For the bags, I went with sling bags, which are on-trend and sporty.

The black sling bag is the one I have mentioned many times that Rosey Blair swears is a great choice for plus size gals.

She rocked it and was a size 24.

The aqua puffer bag can be worn several ways, including as a belt bag or crossbody bag, with a 75″ adjustable strap.

More Accessories

Swap out the black baseball cap for a hot coral one to switch things up.

Also, swap the hot pink oversized aviators, which I have and love in purple, for some black and gold Ray-Ban aviators.

As I have said, the “typical” size Ray-Ban aviators are 58mm, but I like the 62mm for an oversized look on my larger and rounder face.

You can also try these affordable aviators in 62mm for the same look but a much better price.

Jewelry

I chose two pairs of earrings for this capsule.

The first are go-with-everything gold huggie earrings and aqua crystal stud earrings.

For the wrist, stack on some trendy stretchy bracelets.

I have these, which are more affordable and fit my slightly-larger-than-average wrists with plenty of room.

And lastly, complete the sculptural jewelry trend with a gold dome ring.

As I showed above, despite all of the colorful accessories, this capsule does include neutral and monochoromatic looks.

Perfume

Now, why not smell lovely, summery, and florally (is that a word? lol) with this spring look?

I added this perfume, Valentino’s “Donna Born in Roma Coral Fantasy,” which is my newest favorite for warm weather.

It has been my go-to for spring and summer, as it is floral and a bit fruity, for the last year or two.

A Classic Denim Jacket

You can also top these looks with a classic denim jacket instead of the track jacket.

Lip Gloss Stick: A New Fave

I know that I used to talk about my favorite lipsticks all the time… and then YSL discontinued it. Gasp!

But these YSL Loveshine Lip Oil Sticks are the same formula with a new scent! I ordered and tried my favorite shade, Nude Lavalliere, from Sephora. and can confirm they are the same!

However, I also tried this YSL lippie “Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick” in “Showcasing Nude” and must say that I like this formula better. Double gasp!

It seems to be as moisturizing as the Loveshine Lip Oil Sticks but with a better glossy finish.

They don’t last very long on the lips, but the moisture does, for sure.

Anyway, I know they are crazy expensive! Like, ridiculous. But, they are SO good!

If you’re in the market for a bougie splurge, maybe give them a try?
