Hi Alexa. I love your styling work, and I wanted to reach out and see if you could find or do a style fix for the leather shirt jacket Taylor Swift had on. It’s been all over my Facebook and my immediate thought was I wonder if they make that in plus size. I liked how she had it tied around her waist as well so it had to be light weight.  Thanks for sharing your style!!

As I’ve said, these “Straight Size to Plus Size” posts are some of my most popular, but I also get complaints that the “models” in the images aren’t “plus sized.”

So I just wanted to give a little background of why I do these types of posts:

We are all inundated every day by images of thin celebrities, models, and bloggers sporting the “latest looks,” i.e. clothing that doesn’t come in our size.

So I try to take these “unattainable” images and prove that, in fact, with some effort, plus size women can put these hot looks together.  

They are attainable!

And I try to take the effort, i.e. searching everywhere for the pieces, out of the equation.  

So as always, my main goal is to inspire and empower.

Ok, now back to the outfit idea!

Outfit  Details

Taylor Swift’s trendy outfit layers a leather shacket over short denim shorts.

Many of the plus size faux leather shackets I found were sold out or nearly gone.  So jump on these!

From the photos, it looks like Taylor is wearing a plain black long sleeved tee and a layered gold necklace under her shacket.

And the star of the show are her knee high black boots!

Wide Calf Boots

I’m pretty sure the boots Ms. Swift is wearing are these Louboutins.

Aside from being $1800, they have a narrow calf circumference, so I found some alternative wide calf boots for you.
