Feeling like trying a new trend? Want to add a little extra sex in your step? Try some plus size lace-trimmed satin shorts, which are currently a hot item.
Now before you tell me they look like lingerie or your jammies, I’ll just go ahead and let you know that you’re totally right.
In fact, you may want to check your lingerie drawer as you might already have similar!

But, this trend transforms the NSFW satin shorts into an interesting look by pairing them with a basic plain white tee.
If you really wanna hit this trend hard, add a bit of an oversized tee or even something boxy. This will create even more juxtaposition, which as I have said many times, is where style lives.
And top with a long relaxed blazer worn open. So cool!
As I said, these looks are trendy, so I added the “seen everywhere” kitten heeled thong sandals. If you’re like me and skinny heels are no longer a go, try these wedges for a similar effect.

As for accessories, keep it simple. A belted clutch bag, it’s quiet but luxurious.
Add some on-trend sunglasses or try these for a more affordable price.
For jewelry, a triple strand gold snake chain necklace looks great with the crew neck tee. And add some trendy gold earrings.
Lip Gloss Stick: A New Fave
I recently tried the YSL lippie “Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick” in “Showcasing Nude” and must say that I like this formula better than my favorite YSL lippies! Gasp!
I added this “lip gloss stick” in “Watermelon High.”
It seems to be as moisturizing as the Loveshine Lip Oil Sticks but with a better glossy finish.
They don’t last very long on the lips, but the moisture does, for sure.
Anyway, I know they are crazy expensive! Like, bonkers. But, they are SO good!
If you’re in the market for a bougie splurge, maybe give them a try?
Perfume
I love it! This perfume is a warm floral with some white musk and neroli bud. It’s floral but with a bit of sophistication.
It reminds me of what an “it girl” would wear with a slinky dress circa 1999. Think Sex and the City’s “naked dress” from Season 1.
But, it has very mixed reviews, so perhaps trying the Dossier version is a good option. As I’ve said, I have tried several of Dossier’s scents and think they are fantastic for a fraction of the price!

As I said, this second look is a little more conservative.
Swap out the satin and lace for some classic linen shorts. White or black will look great!

That’s because linen breathes and absorbs moisture.
But Linen Wrinkles…
Linen might seem difficult to deal with, but it’s actually quite easy. And it’s machine washable!
As I’ve said, people often ask me how to keep their linen clothes from wrinkling.
For one, linen is always going to wrinkle. Always.
And really, that is part of “the look.” You know, that rich bougie b!tch look that I love so much!
Two, a linen-blend will wrinkle less.
And three, if you iron with starch, linen will wrinkle slightly less. But, I say, just let it go!
More Outfit 2 Details
The rest of this look is much like the first. Top with a crewneck tee and black relaxed blazer.
And again, the ultra-trendy kitten heeled thong sandals. Along with the same trendy sunglasses.
But for the bag, I went with an east-west shoulder bag. And I added a black belt with gold hardware.
Once again, add a three-strand necklace. Perfection. And then some oval threader hoop earrings.
Finish the look with a classic nude lip in Nars’ “American Woman.”
Perfume
Now let’s talk about the perfume: “Delina” by Parfums de Marly.
This French fruity floral seems to be the scent of the summer. Lychee, rose, and vanilla.
I’m dying to try!
