First, go here for measuring tips.

The industry standard for “wide calf,” is any boot that is 16″ or larger in circumference.

However, if you have a larger calf like me, it’s going to be more difficult to find boots but not impossible.

Petite and Tall Wide Calf

If you need “extra wide calf” boots, I’ve got you covered!

The best places to shop “extra wide calf” boots are  Naturalizer, Dolce Vita, and Vince Camuto are all offering extra wide calf boots this season.  Woo hoo!

Also, my long time favorite, Duo Boots, still offer custom calf sizes up to nearly 21″ (53cm).

And if you want vegan leather, Torrid is a good choice for extra wide calves.
