Burgundy Pants

All of these looks feature ponte knit burgundy cigarette pants. They come in 2 inseams: 29.5″ or 27″. You can also find these in 3 inseams: 25″, 27″, and 29″.

So any style of burgundy pants will work. And go with a burgundy belt for a cohesive look.

Outfit 1 Details

In this first look, I paired the burgundy pants with an orchid pink cable knit sweater and a floral scarf.

Wear the scarf around the neck or your head.

Add a stunning burgundy leather satchel or a slightly smaller version.

Jewelry

Throw on  my favorite gold ring, I wear it on my index finger. Fabulous!

And lastly, add a pink statement ring! I have been very into statement rings recently and picked up this one and this one recently.

Lip Gloss Stick: A New Fave

I recently tried the YSL lippie “Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick” in “Showcasing Nude” and must say that I like this formula better than my favorite YSL lippies!  Gasp!

I added this “lip gloss stick” in “Watermelon High.”

It seems to be as moisturizing as the Loveshine Lip Oil Sticks but with a better glossy finish.

They don’t last very long on the lips, but the moisture does, for sure.

Anyway, I know they are crazy expensive!  Like, bonkers.  But, they are SO good!

If you’re in the market for a bougie splurge, maybe give them a try?

Perfume

I have included Versace’s Bright Crystal in many of my gift guides because it is such a beautiful floral fragrance.

So I was delighted to see that the brand Dossier makes a comparable scent.

FYI, I had Dossier on my “to try” list for quite some time.  I ordered a bunch of their scents.  So far, I love them! 

They smell just like the “real” thing.  Someone asked me about their longevity. 

In my opinion, they last as long as the fragrances they are inspired by.

Dossier’s “Fruity Magnolia” is inspired by Versace’s Bright Crystal.

Oh la la!  An amazing luxury scent at a fraction of the price!

Outfit 2 Details

This second outfit idea features the same plus size burgundy pants.

But this time I paired the pants with a plus size tonal floral blouse. It has a beautiful tie detail.

Perfume

As for the perfume, Kilian Paris’s “Love, don’t be shy” Perfume has become a recent favorite.

It’s a sophisticated orange blossom perfume with marshmallow notes and a warm amber base. 

Not your typical citrus perfume, but a sexy and elevated smell!

If you’re feeling bougie it’s definitely worth the splurge.

However, I know it is pricy so if the price is over budget or you just want to try it “guilt free,” perhaps try Dossier’s “Floral Marshmallow.”

As I have mentioned many times, I have tried several of Dossier’s scents and think they are fantastic for a fraction of the price.

Outfit 3 Details

Another look with these burgundy cigarette pants but this outfit is more monochromatic.

Add a coordinating burgundy turtleneck sweater. So chic!

Along with the same belt, satchel, and a pair of tweed flats (or here). Or try these stunning similar heels.

Top the look with some modern on-trend burgundy sunglasses. Or these more affordable shades.

Jewelry

I wanted the jewelry for this last look to be a bit more trendy. So I opted for the uber-popular gold teardrop earrings made famous by Bottega Veneta.

I have these that are a much better price.

I added a stack of stretch gold bracelets. I have these, which I highly recommend.

Throw on my favorite gold ring. I wear it on my index finger.  So fabulous!

Lastly, I added a gorgeous gold tiger’s eye statement ring. 

Perfume

I have a tradition of bringing a giant bag of perfume samples for my friends to try at gatherings. Yes, I am weird.

And I did so this summer at my birthday extravaganza. My friends were trying out perfumes while I was raving about my obsession with KAYALI’s “Yum Boujee Marshmallow,” which I still find strange that I love such a sweet scent.

Anyway, the point is, my friend Marianne kept commenting about her love of Prada’s “Paradoxe.”

And to be honest, it never really struck me as anything special, but her obsession made me curious.

So I continued to spray and sniff… and now, I get it! I love it!

This perfume is a warm floral with some white musk and neroli bud. It’s floral but with a bit of sophistication. It reminds me of what an “it girl” would wear with a slinky dress circa 1999. Think Sex and the City’s “naked dress” from Season 1.

But, it has very mixed reviews, so perhaps trying the Dossier version is a good option.

As I’ve said,  I have tried several of Dossier’s scents and think they are fantastic for a fraction of the price!
