Although I have yet to feel it, spring is officially here! This plus size coral work outfit will take you from early spring through fall. The Cardigan
This lightweight cardigan is the perfect weight for spring. And if your office is overly cool in the summer, you’ll be comfortable with this light layer. I was gifted the cardi from JCPenney and find it to be more of a muted coral than a “rose” color as described. It is a very fine woven knit, making it look elevated and expensive. But, the fine gauge also makes it a little transparent, so keep that in mind. It fits true to size and is available in sizes 14W (0X) – 34W (5X).
My only complaint is the sleeves are pretty long on me. However, this is a common issues for me and is easily remedied by rolling up the cuff. So, if you are tall, this pretty cardigan would also make a good option for you. I also linked to a similar coral cardigan with three-quarter length sleeves. Either would look great with these accessories.
The Accessories
In case you haven’t heard, I am obsessed with coral and aqua combinations. So, these accessories were basically made for me! I mean how great is this long tassel necklace with coral and aqua beads? At 32″ long with an extender, it’s the perfect length. And this striped tote is such a great spring and summer work bag to add some color in your life! Plus, it has so many colors it would coordinate with practically everything. So, these fun accessories take a basic business casual outfit to an exceptional ensemble.
The Trousers
I love these grey trousers, which are available in sizes 14W – 30W and 3 lengths. They have a flattering bootcut leg and a good amount stretch for the ultimate comfort while looking professional. They also come in a “curvy fit,” which might work better for a pear shape who tends to have gaping in the waist. I also linked to a great ponte knit option if you want more stretch.
