Today’s post is celebrating plus size Fair Isle!
A couple of years ago I created a series of “round ups” of themed items, like this one all about gingham, and I want to do the same for Fair Isle.
I love Fair Isle, which is technically a knitting style named for it’s birthplace, Fair Isle, which is one of the Shetland Islands in Northern Scotland.
You might recognize these iconic patterns as they have been popular since the 1920s.

I love Fair Isle. It reminds me of my LL Bean wool sweaters I wore in High School! I always thought of it as “preppy” too, which I love. I’d like to see a roundup of purses-some classic, some trendy styles.

item; recent items have been a white button down and a pair of kick flare jeans. I’m seeing a lot of cute Fall print maxis with blazers and heels, moto jackets and Chelsea boots, denim jacket and sneakers. So now I’m looking for one hopefully on sale as all the retailers are putting out Christmassey stuff. I love the look of the faux leather pants (not leggings, I am just not a leggings person) and would love to see a roundup of those. But I’m also considering black coated jeans instead. The pair I like best is sold out from the Gap but there must be others…
