Plus Size New Year’s Eve Outfit

These days it seems that NYE attire can be anything from a sequined gown to a t-shirt and jeans look.

And some of us are in our pajamas watching the ball drop from our couch!

Point being, this is just one plus size New Year’s Eve outfit idea I had.

This is how I like to dress for night’s out and parties.

I’m always a jeans kinda gal (obviously), but I like to dress them up a bit on special occasions.

An easy way to do that is to add a sparkly top, statement earrings, a clutch, and an appropriate shoe.

Think: strappy sandals, classic pumps, or even a pointed toe flat, if you need to be more comfortable.

Top with a blazer or a faux fur coat depending on your climate.

And, of course, if you want to look a bit dressier or don’t like jeans (gasp!) simply swap the jeans for black trousers.

  1. Hi Alexa,

I just recently started following you. I absolute love the outfits you put together. I’m 52 years young but I’m not so sure they would look good on my body but it sure helps to try the different styles and colors together. I’ve started an electronic closet so I can try and remember my favorites. Lol
I was wondering if you have ever tried anything from Glamour Farms which advertises on Facebook? They seem to have a good selection of plus size and at reasonable prices. I personally haven’t ordered anything.
