Plus Size Color Blocking

It’s been a minute since I’ve featured some red pants outfits on the blog.  So today’s look is some plus size color blocking with bright red ankle pants.  If you’re looking for advice on color blocking, check out my posts on Color Theory here and here.  And, more plus size red pants outfit ideas here.

Plus Size Red Pants

You may have packed away your bright pants for winter.  But, pull them back out!  And if you’re in the market for a pair, I recommend these from Talbot’s or these from Eloquii, which are also available in the “Viola” fit, designed for pear shapes.  (See more on pear shapes here).

This outfit is topped with a bright purple JCrew cashmere sweater and finished with leopard mules.  Of course, any leopard show will do to add some interest.  Add you favorite work tote and head to the office.  Or throw on a cute crossbody and meet some friends for lunch.  This look will take you all the way into spring!

I took the same outfit and added a sensible trench and a Gucci scarf for your head to add some more color.
