Outfit 1 Details

Y’all know I love a bright green (remember this and that?), so when I saw this adorable cable knit cardi in bright green, I knew I had to feature it!

By the way, I asked my mother to add this cardigan to my Christmas wish list.

I love it and it will go well with some sneakers I have (you can see them in this post).

For both of these looks, I added some super stretch bootcut jeans in a darker wash.

J.Crew Jeans

Speaking of the jeans, they’re a bootcut leg with a high rise that have a lot of stretch.

In case you haven’t heard, J.Crew now has many items in plus sizes up to a size 24 or 3X. 

Their sizing is comparable to Lane Bryant. 

One thing to note is that some of their pants and jeans come by waist sizing (vanity), so check the size chart below to see which size you are.

More Outfit 1 Details

I also included some alternative denim options, including Torrid’s Lean Jean High-Rise Slim Boot Jean.   

I mention this because I think they’re a great option for apple shapes. 

But be prepared for a high waist, which I love.  And don’t worry, they stay up!

And I topped this first look with an on-trend cropped duffle coat in navy blue.  So cute!

Accessories

Top the look with some geometric tortoise sunglasses.  Or try these.

Add a tan belt with silver buckle and a brown leather shoulder bag.

Loafers are timeless but also happen to be trending right now.  You can even find the same in wide width here.

I think investing in a classic loafer is a good idea.  But if you’re on a budget, try these.

Jewelry

For jewelry, I went with two-toned classic pieces.

A two-tone Tory Burch watch stacked with David Yurman bracelets, including this stunner with green onyx.

But fear not, I linked to less expensive alternatives below.

Lastly, I added a green statement ring.  I have one that’s very similar and love it!

Lip Gloss Stick: A New Fave

I recently tried the YSL lippie “Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick” in “Showcasing Nude” and must say that I like this formula better than my favorite YSL lippies!  Gasp!

I added this “lip gloss stick” in “Watermelon High.”

It seems to be as moisturizing as the Loveshine Lip Oil Sticks but with a better glossy finish.

They don’t last very long on the lips, but the moisture does, for sure.

Anyway, I know they are crazy expensive!  Like, bonkers.  But, they are SO good!

If you’re in the market for a bougie splurge, maybe give them a try?

This second look is a little sportier with some bright blue retro sneakers.

By the way, these sneakers are unisex/men’s and therefor should fit most wide width feet.

Add a blue baseball cap to keep the vibe and cover any bad hair days.

Jewelry

For earrings some on-trend gold drop earrings. Or try these for a similar but more affordable look.

Then go with my classic gold wrist stack, including this Tory Burch watch and bangle bracelet.

Add my favorite gold ring.  I wear it on my index finger.  So fabulous!

I also have this ring, which is much more affordable, and has held up well despite my abuse of it.  Lol.
