Outfit Details

These looks are just like those from Part 1.

However, I went with a navy blue pencil skirt this time.

It looks great with the navy and cream striped blouse.

The navy pencil skirt is a bi-stretch cotton making it comfortable and well-suited for spring and summer.

Oh and it’s machine washable.

It is JCrew’s “No. 2” style skirt so it sits below the waist and falls to the knee.

But if you’re looking for something longer, try the “No. 3” style skirt which sits above the waist and goes to below the knee.

As for a topper, this time I added an ivory cardigan instead of navy.

Accessories

The accessories are the same as the ones in Part 1.

Kick things off with some Gucci sunglasses.  So chic!

If they’re not in your budget, try these.

And your favorite work tote bag just got upgraded for summer!

Check out this cut-out tote from Tory Burch.  Swoon!

But wait, it gets better! These navy wedge sandals are so chic with cane detail on the platform wedge.

Dress codes & Sandals

In past spring and summer work outfits I am frequently asked: where are the sandals?

In my opinion, sandals always look less professional than a closed-toe flat or heel.

But every organization has a dress code so I’d use that as the guide.

And I am listening to your feedback, so this post has two shoe options: a wedge sandal and flat sandal.

If you want a closed toe, try these or these in navy.

Jewelry & Beauty

As if the accessories don’t already have you drooling, top this look with some classic Tory Burch pearl stud earrings.

And how about a gold coin and large pearl charm bracelet?  Stunning!

I included my favorite lipstick, which you have heard me discuss many times before.

My favorite nude shade is 44 – Nude Lavaliere.  Just a heads up, I think it is being discontinued.

So, I opted for the “Nude Sheer” shade, which seems similar.

And then be sure to smell as gosh darn rich as you look by adding my current fragrance obsession for spring: Gucci’s Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia.

It smells like… you guessed it, gardenia.  It’s sweet but not too sweet.
