This is the first in a series of plus size white blazer outfits.  So first off, if you’re new here you might need to know that generally speaking, I am obsessed with blazers and jeans.

Blazers & Shorts Inspiration

Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of blazers with cut-off denim shorts on Instagram.  And I am here for it!

I’ve seen everything from edgy boho, to preppy, to sporty, to preppy-sporty, to somewhere in between. 

Oh, and I can’t forget date night looks!

Point being, these looks are hot and trending!

Edgy Boho

So for part 1 of this series, I chose to focus on the “edgy boho” looks.  I was mainly inspired by Abby of everydayabby.com.  You can find her on Instagram and LiketoKnow.it.

Below are my takes on this look.  Plus, I added in some alternatives for those who don’t like shorts.

Plus Size White Blazer Outfits

Blazers & Shorts

You may have seen these double-breasted blazers everywhere over the past year or so.  They are a great year-round staple.

I’m pretty sure it was the Balmain double-breasted blazer that made this style hot fire.

But for those of us who can’t afford let alone fit into a Balmain blazer, there are some great alternatives available.

And I opted for long distressed denim Bermuda shorts.  Keep scrolling to see the same look with longer jeans!

And don’t forget a graphic t-shirt to really make this look edgy!

Booties & Accessories

Sticking with the boho vibe, I chose a Western-style bootie in a snake print.   So hot!

If you’re unsure about rocking your booties in summer (it’s a thing), I also show the same look with some studded sandals.

And I can’t seem to create a look without a designer bag, so I added my current obsession, the YSL Mini Lou in black. 

I own and love the full size Lou Matelassé.

Of course, the easiest way to achieve a boho look is to add a felt hat.

Then add some light-weight thick large gold hoop earrings.  Also on-trend! 

Plus, I wanted to mention that I recently purchased a lot of jewelry from this brand, PAVOI, from Amazon, and must say the quality is really great for the prices!

Gucci Belts

As I’ve said, I haven’t personally tried the Double G Gucci belts.  Sadly, they aren’t large enough for me.  

However, they come as large as a size 20 (or 44″ waist)!  See the updated size chart below for choosing the correct size.

Both the thinner Double G Gucci belts and the wider Double G Gucci belts now come up to a size 120! 

So these belts are accessible to those with larger waists [and much larger wallets]!  If they’re not in your budget, here is an alternative!
