Plus Size Summer Work Outfit

This plus size summer work outfit features my favorite work trousers.  They’re the perfect weight for year-round wear.  Plus they are wrinkle resistant.  I just hang them immediately out of the warm dryer.  No need to iron!  They have a flattering cut with a boot leg.

Add some pops of color to your work basics with a statement necklace and bright heels or flats. This is a great “formula” for work outfits.  Just change up the shoes and accessories for different looks!

Just letting y’all know that I will be taking a little break from posting.  I may only be gone for a week or so, I’m not sure yet.  I am having some medical procedures done and need some time off.  I will try to keep things up and running on Pinterest and Facebook, but may be slower to respond to comments.  I’ll be back with more inspiration soon!

  1. Love this outfit. I can picture myself wearing it. Looking forward to getting the necklace I just ordered!!!

  2. Wishing you a speedy, pain free and complete recovery, and thanking you for sharing your great style

  3. Love this outfit, but the pants linked don’t look the same and care instructions say line dry. Would love to know your favorite work pants.

    1. Hi Miriam,
These are my favorite. (http://bit.ly/2t3F7dR) They aren’t the ones in the image. I think I accidentally used a different image of pants. Sorry for the confusion. I know the care instructions say line dry, but I dry them on the coolest setting in the dryer, then hang them immediately out of the dryer. They will shrink a little but not too much.

  4. I have to tell you, since discovering your blog, I feel so much better about myself and the way I look. People have even asked me what I’ve done to myself lately because I look so much healthier. (Nothing but use your tips.)

Best of luck with the medical procedure. Hoping you have a swift recovery.
