2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Each summer Nordstrom has an amazing sale!  Why so amazing?

Well, Nordstrom marks down brand-spanking-new fall items, including brands that rarely go on sale.  After the sale, prices go back up.

So this sale is a great opportunity to score some fresh items for the upcoming fall season at great prices!  Take a look at this year’s plus size sale items!

And as always, remember that Nordstrom offers free shipping and free returns all day, every day!

Key Dates

Early Access is a special perk reserved for Nordstrom card members.

Your Nordy Club level is based on yearly spend amounts, though all card members automatically start at Influencer status.

You can only shop Anniversary Sale Early Access as a card member.

• July 6: Early Access for cardmembers with Icon status.
• July 7: Early Access for cardmembers with Ambassador status.
• July 9: Early Access for cardmembers with Influencer status.
• July 15: Anniversary Sale opens to the general public.

Get a Nordstrom Card to Shop Early

Of course, if you don’t have a Nordstrom card, you can apply for one online right now.

And you don’t have to wait for the card to arrive in the mail to start saving.  You can start shopping the sale as early as July 9th!

Plus, you get $60 to use at Nordy’s at a later date if you use your card the day you are approved!  Woot!

Outfit 1 Details

This cropped bomber jacket is too cute!  So I had to come up with some outfit ideas with it. 

This first look is a classic athleisure look with the infamous Zella leggings.

These plus size leggings are wildly popular for their quality and ability to hold their shape.

I added a sling bag that Rosey Blair swears is a great choice for plus size gals.  She rocks it and is a size 24.

Then I threw in these sneakers which I must have!

Again I added the awesome Zella leggings.

For sneakers, I opted for some Nike trainers.

And a Marc Jacobs crossbody bag.

Similar concept for this last look but this time I went a little more casual than athleisure.

Swap the Zella leggings for the Spanx faux leather leggings.

Plus Size Faux Leather Leggings

As always, one of the stars of the sale is the faux leather leggings from Spanx.

These plus size faux leather leggings (here or here) are very well-reviewed with 4.5/5 stars.

It’s not surprising, considering they’re made by Spanx and offer the control that anyone can use when wearing a legging! 

Some reviewers even reported that these leggings “hid” their cellulite.

They run a little small, but keep in mind, much like Spanx shapewear undergarments, they will be a pain in the a$$ to put on but that’s what you need to keep everything snatched!

They are a support level 2, which is mid-range for Spanx, which offer 3 levels of support.

So, you’ll want them to be tight.  Something to think about when you’re evaluating the fit.

Also, you should probably size up, especially if you are apple-shaped.  If you experience any rolling down at the waist, getting the next size up should fix that.
