I put together some plus size beach vacation outfits after I had a request to remake my cruise capsule collection.
These are the first three looks, all featuring this kimono (or here).
Plus Size Beach Vacation Outfits
Wear the kimono (or here) as a swim cover-up on beach and pool days. It comes in sizes up to a 5X which, based on reviews, I would guess to be around a size 26W/28W.
I paired it with an olive green swimsuit. I love the look of this ruffle v-neck swimsuit, but it’s very low cut in the front with high cut legs. So keep that in mind.
If you need something with a bit more coverage, here are some more options:
Layer on some coin necklaces for that trendy boho look.
Add a straw tote to pack all of your essentials.
And finish your look with some simple slides, which also come in wide width.

I wouldn’t wear a bathing suit like that at any time! Not enough coverage for a plus sized woman! The moral police would be after me! Didn’t care for the color either. Earth tones usually look good on warm skin tones, not on cool ones. You must have some ideas and looks for suits that offer more coverage.
I love all three combinations you put together. Now I see how versatile the kimono can be! The only thing is when I looked at it on Amazon, it looks much longer than it does on your photos. Where would it roughly end on our bodies? (Mid-calf, covering our booty, mid-hip?)

The kimono is 43″ long, so it should hit most people around mid-calf. Hope that helps!
