By request, another plus size coastal grandmother outfit. 

Actually, this time I came up with four looks.  They’re great for summer into fall on the coast.

In case you missed my first one, check this Grace Hanson outfit from “Grace and Frankie.” 

The Coastal Grandmother Trend

For those of you who haven’t heard of the “coastal grandmother” trend, it’s easy linen, button down shirts, cotton sweaters, neutral colors, and classic clean pieces.

Think of Diane Keaton’s wardrobe in “Something’s Gotta Give” or Grace Hanson’s outfits in “Grace and Frankie.”

Do you want to try this trend?  You don’t need to be an actual grandmother or have a house in the Hamptons to rock this aesthetic.

Outfit 1 Details

You can’t go wrong with a cozy cashmere cardigan.  So start there.

Layer it over a blush pink boatneck tee and white wide leg jeans.

J.Crew Sizing

These wide leg trouser jeans are from J.Crew.

In case you haven’t heard, J.Crew now has many items in plus sizes up to a size 24 or 3X. 

Their sizing is comparable to Lane Bryant. 

One thing to note is that some of their pants and jeans come by waist sizing (vanity), so check the size chart below to see which size you are.

Outfit 1 Accessories

As for accessories, stick with the classics.

Keep the jewelry minimal and timeless.

I chose Kendra Scott mother of pearl stud earrings, a thick chain bracelet, and a Tory Burch watch.

And keep it coastal with an oversized straw hat, a straw tote with leather handles, and Tory Burch Miller Cloud sandals in a champagne gold color.

If you watch my Instagram stories, you know that I purchased the Miller Cloud sandals (or here) and they fit my wide feet!

I typically wear a 7.5W, but I got the 7.5 and they fit me perfectly.  

Note that I purchased mine 2 seasons ago, so I am unsure if they have changed the fit.  

But if you have wide feet, Tory Burch is offering leather slides in wide width (C).  Woot!

These are probably your best best.

So, if you’ve got wide feet let me hear ya say “Hell yeah!”

The second outfit is nearly the same as the first. 

But, as the weather becomes crisper, try some white sneakers and a leather tote bag.

The third and fourth plus size outfit ideas still feature the white wide leg trouser jeans from J.Crew.

But this time I paired it with a neutral beige linen sweater.

Sticking with the coastal grandmother trend, once again I added a straw hat, a straw tote with leather handles, and Tory Burch Miller Cloud sandals in a champagne gold color.

Again, keep the jewelry minimal and classic.
