I love wearing unexpected colors in the fall and winter and these plus size coral fall outfits are no exception.

Plus Size Coral Fall Outfits

These looks are all about mixing prints!

In this case, I mixed a coral striped tee with a plaid scarf.

Life is Short, Wear Stripes

As I said, these plus size fall looks feature a coral striped t-shirt.

But, if you’re unsure about stripes, please read this post “Are horizontal stripes REALLY making you look fat?,” written by Melissa at Suger Coat It. 

She explains, “No, horizontal stripes won’t make you look fat. Only being fat makes you look fat.  And you know what, that’s okay.”

I think Melissa does a fantastic job of breaking down this outdated “rule” regarding plus sizes and stripes. 

Outfit Details

All of these outfit ideas feature a black quilted vest.

And the first two looks feature black skinny jeans.

And the first look features lace-up grey boots with coral shoestrings.  I love these!

Accessories

A grey beanie with faux fur pom and classic black aviator sunglasses coordinate nicely with the plaid scarf.

Huggie hoop earrings with blue crystals add a pretty detail.

Of course, I had to add a designer bag. 

I have and love this quilted crossbody.

Lastly, stack on some gold bracelets and a watch.

My Favorite Lipstick

I thought I’d also mention the featured lipstick is my favorite.

The rose-y nude lip is “Rose Dentelle” from YSL. 

As I’ve said, the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine Oil-in-Stick Lipsticks (or here) are my favorite lipsticks. 

I readily admit they are bougie AF and totally break the budget.  But they are amazing!

They’re 65% oil and feel amazing on the lips!  Not to mention they smell fantastic. 

Plus, the packaging is so gorgeous that I actually bought a lipstick holder, like this one, to display them.

And I just can’t say enough great things about them!

The closest lippies I have found at more reasonable prices are L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Shine Lipstick and Sephora’s Rouge Lacquer Lipsticks. 

While both are similar, they aren’t even close to the decadence of the YSL ones.

Pro tip:  Layer them over a lip stain (or lip stain).  This is one of my favorite ways to wear these for more longevity.

This second outfit is just like the first but I opted for some black Chelsea boots.

These classic boots look great with black skinny jeans.

Outfit 3 Details

For the third outfit idea, I went with some demi-boot jeans from J.Crew and some Tory Burch flats.

These jeans come in full-length and cropped.

J.Crew Sizing

In case you haven’t heard, J.Crew now has many items in plus sizes up to a size 24 or 3X. 

Their sizing is comparable to Lane Bryant. 

One thing to note is that some of their pants and jeans come by waist sizing (vanity), so check the size chart below to see which size you are.
