Outfit 1 Details 

Eyelet is trending.  But really, do we ever not like eyelet?

And this plus size eyelet top is no different.  It is SO cute!

In this first look I paired it with some olive green utility shorts.

I love the juxtaposition of the feminine top and masculine bottoms.

Add some classic aviator sunglasses.

Bring in some color with a magenta crossbody bag and some statement earrings.

Finish the look with some comfortable big buckle Birkenstock sandals.

Birkenstock Sizing

As I mention below, Birkenstock sizing can be a little confusing.

First, they’re made in Germany so they use European sizing, which is whole sizes only.

Second, some of their sandals, including those featured here, have unisex footbeds. 

This means they are wider than women’s sandals.

So for Birkenstock sandals, a “Regular” width fits medium to wide feet. 

And “Narrow” fits narrow to medium width feet.

Bottom line, check the width carefully before ordering Birks.

This second look is very similar to the first.

But this time I went with a colorful striped raffia tote bag.

You might notice these are the same statement earrings but in a lavender color.

Finish with the same gold watch and tinted lip balm.

Outfit 3 Details 

This third outfit idea is different with some denim shorts.

I kept things neutral with some black sunglasses and a black macramé and fringed bag.

Add some glitz with beaded statement earrings and embellished sandals.
