With the arrival of summer’s heat and humidity, a skirt is a great alternative to shorts!  A skirt can easily be dressed up or down, and is a cute way to keep cool.  So when Simply Be offered to send me some pieces to try, I chose this beautiful pleated skirt and a denim jacket.

I was thrilled when my new clothes arrived!  The print on this skirt is absolutely stunning, and more vibrant than the pictures show.  It is an a-line cut with pleats in the front and back, with small sections of elastic on the sides of the waist band and a small hidden zipper in the back.  The best news is that it comes in sizes 8 – 28; I love their size-inclusivity!

And the jean jacket is adorable!  The jacket is cropped, which I think is so flattering, with a little bit of stretch.  And the distressing is just enough to be cool but not so much that it looks too trendy or inappropriate for anyone over age twenty.  I love it!  It is available in sizes 6 – 28.
