One cute dress, five plus size green stripe dress outfits…
Y’all know I love green. And there’s nothing better for spring than a green dress!
Plus Size Green Stripe Dress Outfits

Plus Size Green Striped Dress
I love this style of shirt dress, which I first saw on Anthropologie.
But when I saw it in a green stripe… I began to swoon!
I wanted to style the dress five different ways, five different vibes.
I believe this dress can be a work horse.
Wear it to work, wear it to dinner, or wear it while running errands with some Mary Jane sneakers!
Chub Rub Solutions
If you’re looking to prevent the dreaded “chub rub,” I recommend these shorts to wear under your dress.
I was skeptical of the shorts at first, I now have several pairs in a variety of colors and lengths.
And now they have some with hidden pockets!
They’re true to size and I wear a 5X/6X.
Or if you prefer, try this anti-chafe stick. Apply it and then throw it in your bag!
Outfit 1 Details
Wear this plus size green and white short-sleeved striped shirt dress to work.
Grab some on-trend woven Mary Jane flats, which come in wide width. Hell yeah!
Top the look with some oversized designer shades.
Add a raffia and leather tote bag, which you might remember from this post.
The Raffia Tote
Now my disclaimer… Despite my insane willingness to occasionally treat myself to a designer bag, often with a hefty price tag, you won’t catch me paying the full price for this bag. Why?
Because raffia, a grass or straw-like natural fiber, is a material that just won’t hold up over time. This, is, of course, just my opinion and my lifestyle. I don’t “baby” my bags. I push them to the limit. Lol.
So if I don’t think a bag will last for years to come, I can’t justify a big price tag.
That said, if you’ve got it like that, you do you. This bag is GORGEOUS! Respect.

I looked for pre-owned bags and I found one, but it has an even bigger price tag! And the one I found on Ebay may not be authentic, so not worth it. Again, just my opinion.
I did however find what looks to be a “copycat.” It is likely being illegally manufactured and in terrible conditions. What I am saying is that it is unlikely that this bag was made ethically. But, the same can be said for many things we purchase.
I’m on the fence about including it in this post, but if you search Google, there are many. So I figured better to educate and let you (my readers) use your judgement. You can learn more about counterfeit bags here and here.
I also found this tote that is similar at a much better price. And as we head into spring, there will be more similar options available. So if you’re contemplating a similar bag, maybe wait a bit longer. But, as always, you do you!
Jewelry
Keep the jewelry simple for the office.
Trending gold knot earrings are a great choice. In my opinion, these are timeless. Or try these, with a better price tag.
I love this gold link bracelet, which is 6.5″ with a 1″ extender.
And lastly this gold ring makes a statement.
Lip Gloss Stick: A New Fave
I recently tried the YSL lippie “Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick” in “Showcasing Nude” and must say that I like this formula better than my favorite YSL lippies! Gasp!
I added this “lip gloss stick” in “Nude Lavalliere,” my favorite nude shade from YSL.
It seems to be as moisturizing as the Loveshine Lip Oil Sticks but with a better glossy finish.
They don’t last very long on the lips, but the moisture does, for sure.
Anyway, I know they are crazy expensive! Like, bonkers. But, they are SO good!
If you’re in the market for a bougie splurge, maybe give them a try?
Perfume
I chose the Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia perfume, which has become a personal favorite.
I recently replaced an empty bottle with a new one. And considering how much perfume I have, that is really saying something.
It has a light floral and fruity scent including Gardenia and has been compared to Viva La Juicy.
If you’re not ready to invest, perhaps try Dossier’s “Fruity Gardenia,” which is a fraction of the price and inspired by Gucci’s “Flora Gorgeous Gardenia.“
I have tried several of Dossier’s designer inspired scents and think they’re amazing!

This next look will look great at spring and summer events like baby showers, graduations, and sophisticated brunches.
Add some woven raffia tie ballet flats in ivory. So feminine and beautiful.
And these flats will look great with this Kate Spade bucket bag. Perfection!
Top the look with some ivory sunglasses. Or try these for a more economical choice.
Add some lovely pearls like these drop earrings and this bracelet, which adjusts from 7.5” to 8.5” in length.
Lipstick
Looking for the quintessential nude lip? Try the iconic and universally flattering shade “Pillow Talk” from Charlotte Tilbury.
Pro tip: this lip shade is a great choice for overlining your lips since it is such a natural color.
You can now get “Pillow Talk” in four different shades allowing you to get the best look for your skin tone. Woot!
But, if Ms. Tilbury is out of your price range, my GOAT drug store nude is L’Oreal’s “Fairest Nude,” but as the name suggests, its best for fair to light/medium skin tones.
If you have a go-to affordable nude for medium to deeper skin tones, please let us know in the comments below.
Perfume
I included a new low key everyday perfume favorite: “Rare” Eau de Parfum by Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez.
It’s a warm and sweet gourmand scent, which if you’re a regular reader, you know has been my vibe lately.
But, it’s not too sweet and I love the way the sandalwood keeps the vanilla and caramel balanced.
You know I am terrible at describing perfumes, which is hilarious since I attempt to do it all of the time! Haha!
Bottom line, I think this is a lovely, feminine, easy fragrance. Perhaps worth a try if you want to try a gourmand that’s not too sweet or overpowering.

This third look is a little more casual with some tan square-toed thong flat sandals.
Add the same raffia and leather tote bag as I included in Outfit One.
Bold gold earrings (I have and love) really make a statement along with these stretch bangle bracelets.
I have these, which are less expensive and I highly recommend.
And lastly, top the look with thick-rimmed aviator sunglasses, a HOT accessory this spring!
Perfume
I chose BYREDO’s “Mojave Ghost” for the scent. I think it has the right vibe.
As I’ve said before, it feels like a modern scent but a bit boho.
Like something you’d wear to Burning Man in case you end up wanting to flirt with a hot EMT in the medical tent after taking too much peyote.
And it is certainly worth a try if you’re in the market for a trendier scent.
But, if you’re on a budget, consider trying Twist’s “River Valley No. 88,” which is inspired by BYREDO’s “Mojave Ghost.”

I think this fourth look might be my favorite.
Preppy vibes. Starting with some flat slide sandals in brown.
And add a rectangle raffia clutch with brown leather handles.
I’m low-key obsessed with this bag. And it will never go out of style, I promise.
Check out some similar options I found:
Jewelry
Next, these coin earrings are timeless. And look great with this outfit.
As for a bracelet, how about a classic and classy gold coin bracelet? So chic!
I have this coin bracelet, which fits my slightly-larger-than-average wrists and has an amazing price!
And last, throw on a pink statement ring.
Perfume
Now, why not smell lovely and summery with this summer look?
I added this perfume, Valentino’s “Donna Born in Roma Coral Fantasy,” which is my newest favorite for warm weather.
It has been my go-to for spring and summer, as it is floral and a bit fruity, for the last year or two.
If you want to try a handmade fragrance inspired by Coral Fantasy, which is much more affordable, check out this body mist.
Full disclosure: I’ve never tried anything from the Dirty Soul Soap Co., so I can’t speak to the quality.

And I think this is my second favorite outfit! Sporty and comfortable.
Start with some brand new and ultra-trendy Mary Jane sneakers.
I think they’re pretty cute!

Add a burgundy baseball cap.
And a black and tan woven tote bag. Or try this one for a more affordable choice.
A gold boyfriend watch will look great with this ensemble.
Perfume
As for the perfume, I opted for something really fresh, Jo Malone’s English Pear & Freesia Cologne.
My dearest friend gave me a small bottle of this and I love it for an “everyday” scent.
I see that Dossier makes a perfume called “Floral Pear,” which is inspired by Malone’s Pear & Freesia.
So far I have enjoyed every Dossier fragrance I’ve tried, so check it out!
