Outfit Details

I saw this adorable green trench coat and decided I had to style some outfits for it.

Seems a bit backwards, but I think these are adorable looks that work with and without the trench.

And oh, if you have a neutral trench, that will work too!

Both of these look, including the one in Part 2, feature the same wide leg jeans.

Very 90s and I love it!

But for the first look I added this plus size red striped t-shirt.

Life is Short, Wear Stripes

As I said, this plus size look features a striped tee.

But, if you’re unsure about stripes, please read this post “Are horizontal stripes REALLY making you look fat?,” written by Melissa at Suger Coat It

She explains, “No, horizontal stripes won’t make you look fat. Only being fat makes you look fat.  And you know what, that’s okay.”

I think Melissa does a fantastic job of breaking down this outdated “rule” regarding plus sizes and stripes.

Accessories

Try some oversized designer sunglasses.  Or some similar ones at a much lower price.

Add a crescent shaped crossbody bag in sepia brown.

And some d’Orsay style ballet flats in cognac.

These are such great everyday pieces for fall.

Jewelry

As for jewelry, more thick gold hoop earrings.

Sorry guys, I know you are tired of seeing my favorite gold hoops, but I am obsessed.  Lol.

I will try to switch it up.

A simple charm bracelet adds some interest as well as a cigar band ring.

I picked up this ring during the NSale and love it.

My Favorite Lipstick

I thought I’d also mention the featured lipstick is my favorite.

As I’ve said, the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine Oil-in-Stick Lipsticks are my favorite lipsticks.

I readily admit they are bougie AF and totally break the budget.  But they are amazing!

They’re 65% oil and feel amazing on the lips!  Not to mention they smell fantastic.

Plus, the packaging is so gorgeous that I actually bought a lipstick holder, like this one, to display them.

And I just can’t say enough great things about them!

The closest lippies I have found at more reasonable prices are L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Shine Lipstick and Sephora’s Rouge Lacquer Lipsticks

In my experience, these are similar, but they aren’t even close to the decadence of the YSL ones.

Update: Recently someone told me that the L’Oreal’s Glow Paradise Balm-in-Lipstick is a dupe.

I ordered one to try, and I found it really disappointing.

They‘re not very moisturizing and the smell is unappealing (that chemical lipstick smell).

Perfume

Smell like a rich b!tch with one of my favorite scents: Chanel’s Gabrielle.

And now you can smell like a rich b!tch while on a budget with the perfume brand, Dossier.

I recently tried several fragrances.  And so far, I love them!

Dossier’s “Floral Ylang Ylang” is inspired by Chanel’s Gabrielle.

Oh la la!  An amazing luxury scent at a fraction of the price!
