You are going to see a lot more sparkles on the blog in the coming weeks as the holidays are quickly approaching and I am completely obsessed with sequins. Obviously. So when I saw Society+’s “The Showstopper” sequin maxi skirt my heart skipped a beat! I chose the dark blue for this outfit, but it also comes in silver and rose gold. And they have a shorter version that hits just below the knees if you’re looking for all the shimmer with just a little less drama.
I chose a basic turtleneck sweater since the skirt is the star of the show. I added statement earrings to keep things balanced top to bottom. And a giant cocktail ring for good measure. If you want to be a little edgy top with a biker jacket.

I wonder if the skirt has any stretch? I tried on some sparkly skirts at Target yesterday (not plus but I tried an XXL). They were elastic waist however the material had zero stretch and didn’t fit over my booty. Just a FYI if you’re in the market! Thanks again for your awesome blog posts!
