As I said, I received a lot of requests for a casual capsule collection. Plus, I am always getting requests for a list of essentials.
This series is a bit of a hybrid of those two concepts.
As Always, a Disclaimer
Let me preface this with what I regularly say to these requests: I am NOT a minimalist.
If you’re looking for a minimalist capsule, I’m not your girl.
I am an unapologetic clothes horse. Every closet in my house, plus a spare bedroom, plus half of my dining room, are full of clothes! (I need an intervention).
So this is the best “pared down essentials” list for spring casual wear that I could come up with.

There is practically an infinite number of combinations.

So for Part 4, I am going to focus on the black camisole with lace trim. This is a great piece that can be worn day or night.
Many of these outfits can be won for a date night or night out.
Opt for topping with the black blazer for a more classic look.
And the black leather biker jacket for an edgier look.

I have a question about wearing the cami. I have always hesitated buying a cami because I absolutely have to have a bra so how do I wear it under those thin straps ?
Hey there! I am a fan of Alexa’s, too!! She addresses the strapless bras in the summer dress post and adds a link for the bra! There is a search bar below to… maybe try one of those options.

I recommend this bra (also here).
Another option is to look something with “decorative” straps and purposefully show them off, like this. Or even a bralette.
