Plus Size Spring Floral Dress Outfit

A plus size spring floral dress outfit that can take you from the early thaw through the hot summer.  Add a denim jacket on cooler days and nights.  And while this knit dress is easy and comfortable, you could wear it to the office on casual Fridays with a coordinating cardigan and sensible flats. Add your favorite work tote to complete the look.

  1. Hi,
I look forward in getting your emails. I never was someone that could put together an outfit. More of jeans and a tee. But since finding you I have changed and thankfully so, my wardrobe. But I have a HUGE request. With high school graduation coming in a little could you find some amazing dresses or outfits for mother’s of the graduates. I can’t wait to see what you recommend.
    Thank you.

    1. Hi Eva,
Thank you for the post idea. I have always wanted to do a “round-up” of graduation options, but somehow never got around to it. I will add the idea to my list and hopefully can fit it in this year! Thanks!

  2. Hi! I’ve been reading your blog for several months and for the first time I’ve actually “shopped” one of your choices. I really like the print dress and hope it fits. Love your examples—and will continue to read your emails.

  3. I love, love, love this outfit! And I love that we are into Spring and Summer looks. This outfit would take you all the way through Labor Day. A raffia or rattan bag is on my list this year. This one is very nice (but I haven’t mastered the art of paring down my purse enough for a clutch)
    Keep ’em coming!

    1. Thanks, Elizabeth!
I know the bag-size struggle is real! These days I try to have a clutch within my larger as a wallet. That way I can at least have the “essentials” already sorted and can pull the clutch out of the large bag when I want to look a little more sleek or don’t want to carry the weight of my full packed-to-the-top handbag.

You might find that when you do get your essentials paired down that you become addicted to switching out clutches constantly for the variety. I now have a ton that I love to wear. So sadly, I created another thing I love to shop for! Lol.

  4. Love the hole outfit. Is always a good idea combine a jeans jacket with a nice dress. Fantastic sun glasses and shoes.
    Great work Alexa.
