As we’ve discussed, Nordstrom is one of my favorite retailers.  Aside from their great selection, I love that they offer free shipping and free returns with no minimum purchase.  Basically, they’re the lazy fashionista’s dream!

Being that I am a lazy fashionista, I love that I can sip wine on my couch while perusing their extensive collection of plus size apparel.  Side note: they also have a nice selection of wide width shoes.  And I can try on all of my purchases in the comfort of my home.  Then I just return what doesn’t work with no extra cost to me!  Of course, if you need something right away, you can get expedited shipping or even curbside pick-up.  Done.

Cardigan + Denim

This plus size striped cardigan outfit will take you from early spring through next fall.  The striped cardigan (similar) which is true to size and available is sizes 1X – 4X, is a cotton blend, so it’s perfect for light layering.  In this look I paired it with an adorable denim skirt with a frayed step-hem.  But, you could obviously also wear it with your favorite denim shorts or boyfriend jeans for the same vibe.  Come fall, I could wear it with bootcut jeans and stacked heel booties.

Outfit Details

I went more “minimalist” with the accessories, at least by my cant-be-a-minimalist standards.  Haha.  I did include a trend I’m currently obsessed with, large thick hoop earrings.  And I added some simple bracelets, trendy sunglasses, and a suede crossbody bag.  But, the pièce de résistance is this platform sandal!  They are actually more comfortable than you’d think because there is only a 2″ difference between the heel (4″) and the platform (2″).  But, if they are too much for you, I also included an alternative sandal that is almost like a flatform and also comes in wide width.

Lanolin Lip Balm

And last, but not least, I wanted to mention that Lanolips, my favorite lip and hand products, now offer a “tinted lip balm with a luminescent finish.”  I can’t wait to try it!  As you know, I love their tinted lip balms and “superbalm.”  All of their products have lanolin as a main ingredient (the magic) and are cruelty-free.  Lanolin is derived from sheep’s wool and mimics the natural oils humans produce.  I highly recommend them!
