Plus Size White Jeans Fall Outfit

Because we have done away with the outdated “no white after Labor Day” rule, today I bring you a plus size white jeans fall outfit.

Yes, we’re talking white jeggings in [gasp] fall!

This look is so chic with a monochromatic color scheme.  Taupe, oatmeal, ivory, and white harmoniously come together for this cold weather outfit.

As I’ve said, when working with similar colors, make sure you include a variety of textures and finishes.

In this case, I chose a cable knit sweater, suede booties, and a quilted leather bag.

Rancher Hats

Rancher hats are all the rage and I love these from Lack of Color.  In fact, a rancher hat is a great way to update your wardrobe.

You can see more outfit ideas with rancher hats here, here, and here.

Do you think you’re ready to try one?  That is if you haven’t already!

My Favorite Lipstick

Finish off your look with a nude lip, like “Nude Lavalliere” from YSL

As I’ve said, the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine Oil-in-Stick Lipsticks (or here) are my favorite lipsticks.

I readily admit they are bougie AF and totally break the budget.  But they are amazing!

They’re 65% oil and feel amazing on the lips!  Not to mention they smell fantastic.

Plus, the packaging is so gorgeous that I actually bought a lipstick holder, like this one, to display them.

And I just can’t say enough great things about them!

The closest lippies I have found at more reasonable prices are L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Shine Lipstick and Sephora’s Rouge Lacquer Lipsticks.  While both are similar, they aren’t even close to the decadence of the YSL ones.

  1. I am in love with that pale pink lace top…and it is sold out…everything else I seem to have in stock…but not a beautiful lace top like that…Thank you for your posts…I get to shop my closet and put together new ideas for outfits.

  2. I just recently order the Spanx black faux leather legging from the nordstrom sale. How thick are the Spanx white leggings. With cellulite going on, I am curious if they would provide good coverage before I invest in a pair. P.S. Love love love this outfit. Well done.

    1. Hi Cindy,
I assume they’re pretty dang good! I’ve heard good things about the Spanx jeggings, but haven’t tried them. I should have mentioned that you will likely need to size up. They fit like shapewear.
I also recommend some from Torrid (unfortunately, not currently available) and these from Talbots. The Talbot’s jeggings also come in a “curvy fit” which is nice if you are a pear shape. Point being, you may have better luck with the jeggings from Talbots.

    2. I have the same problem – Any white or light pants will put my cellulite on full display. I’m pretty nervous about giving it a try. I LOVE the suggestions and outfits that Alexa puts together. I finally feel like my closet has come to life and someone is there to help me make the best of what I have and what I could have!
