Similar to my last post in my “Straight Size to Plus Size” series, this outfit is a plus size blazer and jeans. As you well know by now, I love jeans with blazers! And I love following Tanja Jager on Instagram! She is a German straight size blogger who has an amazing style.
So when I saw her hot pink blazer and jeans outfit, I had to recreate a plus size version. You can shop Tanja’s straight size outfit on the LiketoKnow.it app here. And be sure to follow her on Instagram and Pinterest for amazing outfit inspo!

As I’ve said, these “Straight Size to Plus Size” posts are some of my most popular, but I also get complaints that the “models” in the images aren’t “plus sized.” So I just wanted to give a little background of why I do these types of posts:
We are all inundated every day by images of thin celebrities, models, and bloggers sporting the “latest looks,” i.e. clothing that doesn’t come in our size.
So I try to take these “unattainable” images and prove that, in fact, with some effort, plus size women can put these hot looks together. They are attainable! And I try to take the effort, i.e. searching everywhere for the pieces, out of the equation. So as always, my main goal is to inspire and empower.
While the hot pink blazer is the star of the show, any bright blazer will do! But, I did find some great choices for plus size magenta blazers:
I don’t typically like more than one leopard print piece in a look. But, I don’t hate this double up! I chose the iconic Clare V leopard clutch and some calf hair leopard pumps, which also come in wide width. See the “Shop the Look” section below for more alternatives.
Another important part of this look are the accessories. I love Tanja’s choice of necklaces. I found a couple of pieces that are pretty similar and some bold cuff bracelets.
As for the belt, the Louis Vuitton belt only goes to a size 16 (110), so I chose to feature the Gucci Double G belt. As I’ve said, I haven’t personally tried the Double G Gucci belts. Sadly, they aren’t large enough for me. However, they come as large as a size 20 (or 44″ waist)! See the updated size chart below for choosing the correct size.
Both the thinner Double G Gucci belts and the wider Double G Gucci belts now come up to a size 120! The latter is probably a better choice for jeans depending on your personal preference. So these belts are accessible to those with larger waists [and much larger wallets]! If they’re not in your budget, here is an alternative!
And it probably goes without saying, but wearing no belt is also an option! Do what works for you!
