2019 Gift Ideas for Men

As I’ve said, I am creating gift guides for y’all in the hopes of giving you some good ideas and saving you a little time this holiday season.  Just like my last Gift Ideas for Men Guide, I surveyed all of the men in my life.  And I got suggestions ranging from a slow close toilet seat to a salt gun that you shoot flies with.  Oh yeah, and a build-your-own cabin. So yeah, some interesting results!

But, after taking in all the information and doing some more research, I came up with these Christmas gift ideas for men…

Before getting into the list, just a reminder that I’m ramping up my holiday content with plus size holiday outfitsplus size holiday party dressesgift guides, and Black Friday and Cyber Week sale information {coming soon}, including my top picks!  Woot!

I wanted to make sure to let you know that you can always easily find those topics, but clicking “Holiday” in the menu or going to this page, which is basically “Holiday Central” here at alexawebb.com, so you may want to bookmark it.

Now on to this year’s list!

  1. Yeti Cooler – You may have heard about the coolers you can run over with a Hummer and still not break.  They are vacuum sealed and “bear proof.” You’ll be in shock about how long these coolers will keep things cold!  The only downside to consider is that due to their thicker insulated walls, they’re heavier than the average cooler and don’t hold as much as their same-sized counterparts.
  2. Polo Ralph Lauren Pajama Joggers or here (Big & Tall) – You’ll see that I included a lot of Polo Ralph Lauren items in this list.  First, I just love the quality.  Second, I want to be as size-inclusive as possible and Polo offers Big & Tall.
  3. Polo Ralph Lauren Pajama Shirts (Big & Tall) –  Pair these shirts with the pajama joggers!
  4. Garmin Sapphire Multi-Sport Watch or here (newer edition or here) – After researching these watches I have concluded 2 things.  First, I need one!  And second, they make FitBits look like janky b!tch watches.  I won’t go into all of the details because there are a lot of features.  They’re military-grade rugged.  They have the option of a sapphire scratch-resistant face and are water-resistant.  They have GPS, Bluetooth, can store 2000+ songs without your phone, hold a charge for weeks at a time, track heart rate, pulse ox, plus a ton of other physiological stats that I can barely understand.  And of course, they also track distance and altitude.  They come with pre-loaded topographical and ski report maps.  And you can read texts and emails and even pay for things anywhere there is a scanner for contactless payments.  And so. much. more.  Amazing!
  5. Yeti Tumbler – I couldn’t help but add this to my list again.  I love my Yeti Tumblers and have become obsessed with them!  Like I said, “They keep your drink “as cold (or hot) as science allows.”  Yeti is the Ferrari of travel mugs.”
  6. Beard Grooming Kit – Another friend recommendation.  For those men in your life with beards!
  7. Leather Overnight Bag (less $ similar) – You can’t go wrong with this luxury item.  He’ll look classy as hell with a distressed leather bag, no matter where he’s headed.
  8. Plaid Flannel Pajamas (less $ similar) – XS – XXL – So classic.  True to size.
  9. Fire TV Stick – I have both a Fire Stick and Roku.  I much prefer the Fire Stick.  If you want to watch Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, or so many other streaming services on a TV that has an HDMI port, all you need is a Fire Stick!
  10. Leatherman Multi-Tool – similar to #6 in my last Men’s Gift Guide, but with even more bells and whistles.  As I said, “If the men (or women) in your life don’t already have a multi-tool, I highly recommend one!  I keep mine in the car.  I’ve used it to change my headlight in a Walmart parking lot, pull the plastic covers off my lug nuts so I could change my tire (why did anyone put plastic over them, seriously?), cut stray threads from a Bridemaid’s dress en route to a wedding, open beer bottles while camping, and countless other things.  I have a feeling the dudes in your life would love one of these!”
  11. Fire HD 10 Tablet or iPad – He didn’t know he needed one until he has it.
  12. Leather and Shearling Slippers (less $ similar) – You can never go wrong with leather or shearling.  And you’re always right with those two combined!
  13. Bug-A-Salt – Just read the reviews!  This is my favorite: “So I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and I’m not entirely sure that was a smart move on my part. Not because the product doesn’t work (it works very well in fact) but because my husband is now intent on leaving the doors open to the house when summer comes back around so all kinds of bugs can be let in for him to kill. He’s already had the pleasure of being able to use it on a spider that was on an outdoor Christmas decoration and boy was he ecstatic! Since we seem to be in short supply of bugs in the house during these cold winter months, my husband has also resorted to using this gun as a way to add salt to food while he’s cooking. Anything to keep him entertained I guess 🙂 In conclusion, yes this product works, yes it kills bugs, and yes you can even use it while cooking if you’re tired of using the boring old salt shakers we have all grown accustomed too.”  Lol.
  14. Luxurious Robe or here (Big & Tall) – Another classic!  And anything by Polo Ralph Lauren is great quality and luxurious!
  15. Cashmere Sweater – Sizes XS – 4X – Another basic that you just can’t go wrong with.
  16. Turntable Record Player – (Bluetooth enabled) – For those with vinyl collections (or who want to have a vinyl collection).  If he’s like my friend Dan, then nothing sounds better than vinyl!
