Two plus size black top outfits. Both featuring this plus size black twist top from Kiyonna. It might look familiar because I previously featured it in a post as it’s a favorite of mine. It is one of those staples that can work for casual wear, business casual, and even date nights.
As I said, this top is super flattering. The cut is fantastic for apple shapes or anyone who looks good in empire waists.
It has a V-neck that is just the right depth to be flattering but offers enough coverage that you can wear this top to the office. So no need to layer a cami under for “cleavage coverage” (at least not for me, who is large, but this could be dependent on your bust size).

Plus Size Black Top Day to Night Outfits
Both outfit ideas feature jeans because you know I’m all about denim for day and night. I can’t help it, you guys!
Look 1
So for the first look, pair your favorite jeans with one of my favorite tops. Then add a white denim jacket. Casual staples that work at least three seasons a year.
Stay cool and comfortable with some platform sneakers. I love these low top Chuck Taylors with platform bottoms. They’re a modern take on a classic. In the 90s I bought myself a pair of bright cobalt blue suede Chuck Taylors while I was in London. I loved them so much! Point is, Chuck Taylors, low or high, never really go out of style.
Next, add a pop of color with a bright red crossbody bag. I chose a Gucci Soho disco bag because I like to be extra and a little bougie, but any red crossbody will work. This Valentino bag is very similar and a fraction of the price.
Finish the look with some trendy thick gold hoop earrings, designer sunnies, and a stack of bracelets. I chose David Yurman pieces, again because I like to be extra and bougie when possible.
Oh and don’t forget a red lip!

Look 2
The second look can easily go from day to night. Throw a shrunken blazer over my favorite top with your favorite jeans. I like a little distressing to keep things modern. But if you’re trying to look more polished, opt for a dark skinny jean like these.
Choose a heeled sandal, preferably something with a little edginess. But any heel will work. In colder weather, you could opt for a classic pointed toe pump or even a sexy bootie.
Add a statement clutch, like this amazing snake print Clare V. bag. And layer on some pavé bracelets. I mean how incredible is this pavé watch? Swoon!
