Tank dresses and t-shirt dresses are staples, in my opinion. 

In fact, t-shirt dresses have been featured many times on the blog.

I usually look for 100% cotton options for keeping cool in the summer heat. 

This dress is 100% cotton and made in L.A.

This brown tank dress has adjustable curve-enhancing ruching on the sides allowing you to adjust the length.  So hot!

But, as always, I found some alternatives with sleeves and more.

Look 1

For this first outfit idea, I tried to imagine what I might wear in South Beach.  So this is sort of resort wear-inspired.

If I needed a layer, I’d add a long or “boyfriend” cut blazer in white or ivory. 

Of course, you can rock this dress by itself.  Add some body highlighter to your shoulders and décolletage.  Hell, add some to your legs too. 

Or if you need some extra “help,” this blurring body makeup is supposed to be amazing!

Fake a tan and smoother skin at the same time!  Boom.

Shoes & Accessories

You’ll see with each outfit that when it comes to these looks, shoes and accessories are clutch.

So if I’m heading to South Florida, I’m taking a straw fedora, the quintessential “resort” accessory.

And a chic rattan clutch and some oversized sunglasses will have you lookin’ like a bad B.

If Celine shades are in the budget, try these.  I have and love them!

As for jewelry, you can’t go wrong with some gold chains with gold coins.  Classic.

Now let’s talk shoes.  Mules and slides are trending and are an easy way to update your summer looks!
