A plus size summer chinos work outfit perfect for business casual dress codes.

Much like my last plus size work outfit, this look is an easy “formula.”

Outfit Details

A no-fail “formula” for summer outfits: printed scarf + white top + coordinating color pants.

For pants, I went with these cotton chinos with a bit of stretch.  They are ankle length with a bit of a tapered leg.

For the top, I went with a simple white tee made to look modern with a square neckline.

And the coordinating scarf is this beautiful lightweight silk-blend scarf.

Shoes & Accessories

You might remember these coordinating open-toe d’Orsay flats from my summer work capsule.  So cute!

Plus, I found some other options in the same color in case you need closed-toe shoes at your office.

Keep things light and “summer-y” with a large straw tote and bold aqua earrings.

Then throw on some oversized designer sunglasses in tortoise color.

And pile on some classic bracelets and maybe a watch.

Lipstick

Finish off your look with a coral lip, like “Corail Spontini” from YSL. 

As I’ve said, the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine Oil-in-Stick Lipsticks (or here) are my favorite lipsticks. 

I readily admit they are bougie AF and totally break the budget.  But they are amazing!

They’re 65% oil and feel amazing on the lips!  Not to mention they smell fantastic. 

Plus, the packaging is so gorgeous that I actually bought a lipstick holder, like this one and this one to display them.

And I just can’t say enough great things about them!

The closest lippies I have found at more reasonable prices are L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Shine Lipstick and Sephora’s Rouge Lacquer Lipsticks. 

While both are similar, they aren’t even close to the decadence of the YSL ones.
