A plus size casual summer dress outfit with a ruched knit dress and bold necklace.
And it’s a favorite for good reason! Comfortable, flattering, and versatile.
This dress can take you from day to night with just some simple accessory changes.
And it can go from a casual office to a casual brunch all the same.
For this plus size casual summer dress outfit idea, I opted for an easy summer ensemble that is carefree but polished just enough that you could wear it to the office on a casual Friday.
Shoes & Accessories
I topped this sleeveless dress with a lightweight white cardi with waterfall front detail.
I actually have this cardi and it’s the perfect weight for a summer night or aggressive air conditioning.
For the shoes, I wanted a chic yet casual sandal. I think these gorgeous Frye open-toe heeled sandals fit the bill.
Keeping the same vibe with rich cognac leather, I chose this Hobo wristlet.
I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of the brand Hobo. I have several of their bags and they literally last forever.
Obviously, the star of the show is this turquoise slab bib necklace. So beautiful!
You actually might remember a similar statement necklace from this look. It just never goes out of style!
As for the rest of the jewelry, add some trendy thick hoop earrings.

I usually try to include lipstick suggestions in my posts, but today I also included a bronzer.
The gorgeous turquoise packaging of this Gucci bronzer may have caught your eye.
But it is bonkers expensive and I just can’t. For now. Lol.
My current go-to bronzer is being discontinued. (I mean wtf). It’s currently on sale so I stocked up like the makeup junkie that I am.
If you’re looking for a finely milled matte bronzer, give it a try. It’s one of the best I’ve tried.
No patchiness. I swear it blends itself!
I have fair to light skin and use the “Light Neutral Bronze.” It is truly a neutral undertone, which I really appreciate since bronzers often pull red on me.
I also use the bronzer in the Hourglass face palette I got for Christmas. It’s also really gorgeous.
But, if you’re on a budget or just don’t want to be a bougie makeup hoarder like me, I highly recommend this much more affordable bronzer from Physician’s Formula.
I use the original “Bronzer” color and also find it to have a very neutral undertone. It’s a really nice powder and smells like coconut sunscreen.
