Four plus size dress with sneakers outfits for different climates and weather.
This series started years ago when I created “Southern Editions” for my annual Thanksgiving Day outfit ideas.
Essentially I added alternative outfits for those of you in warm(er) climates.
And they were such a hit that I began to make posts with 4 versions of the same look: Warmest, Warmer, Warm, and the Southern Edition.
Plus Size Dress with Sneakers Outfits
Although this outfit isn’t meant for Thanksgiving, per se, I thought it would be fun to make the same type of alternative looks for those in different climates!
Without further ado, here are the same outfit ideas with minor details changed to accommodate whatever the weather and temperature might be in your region!
Pro tip: this also shows how to update the look as the temperatures drop from early fall into winter!
Warmest Outfit Details
This first plus size outfit is the warmest and is meant for cold weather and winter.
The look features a black sweater dress and a goose-down puffer jacket from North Face.
Top with a hot pink beanie to keep your head warm.
Each outfit features these adorable and on-trend leopard sneakers.
I recommend wearing them with no-show socks.
For the bag, I chose this sling bag that Rosey Blair swears is a great choice for plus size gals. She rocks it and is a size 24.
Make sure you follow her on Instagram and LTK for more incredible fashion.
Obviously, I included my favorite Celine sunglasses.
But, I have and love these sunnies that are a great budget-friendly alternative.
Some trendy huggie hoop earrings keep the look modern.
A Victoria Emerson cuff bracelet adds some rock n’ roll glitz to the wrist.
And a gunmetal and crystal statement ring adds some more sparkle.
Finish the look with a berry lip.

Warmer Outfit Details
For the second option, the “warmer”version, I kept the same sweater dress, sneakers, and beanie.
But, I swapped the puffer jacket for a denim jacket.

I kept the other accessories the same.

Warm Outfit Details
This third outfit is perfect for fall in the mid-Atlantic region.
I kept the denim jacket, but this time swapped the sweater dress for a long-sleeved ruched knit dress.
And I swapped the hot pink beanie for a magenta baseball cap.
Wear your favorite team or grab a cap without a team.

And finally, we have the Southern Edition, perfect for summer into fall in many regions.
And if you lose the denim jacket, a cute outfit for summer.
I swapped the long sleeve knit dress for this sleeveless ruched knit dress.
If you haven’t heard, this dress has been a huge hit!
I recently made a little video about it.

One thought on “Plus Size Dress with Sneakers Outfits”
Being a Southerner, myself, I absolutely adore the outfits with denim jackets but it’s far too warm for that until it’s nearly Winter here. I’d love to see some denim shacket versions interspersed for a lighter way to wear the denim jacket without dying of a heat stroke. Iykyk.
