Plus Size Faux Leather Leggings Winter Outfits

Two plus size faux leather leggings winter outfits.

I have been talking about these leggings for years now.

Make sure you check out this post for a lot of ideas on how to wear them.

Plus Size Faux Leather Leggings

As the title suggests, both of the plus size outfit ideas below feature the infamous Spanx faux leather leggings.

These plus size faux leather leggings are very well-reviewed with 4.5/5 stars.

It’s not surprising, considering they’re made by Spanx and offer the control that anyone can use when wearing a legging!

Some reviewers even reported that these leggings “hid” their cellulite.

What!?!

Sizing

They run a little small, but keep in mind, much like Spanx shapewear undergarments, they will be a pain in the a$$ to put on but that’s what you need to keep everything snatched!

They are a support level 2, which is mid-range for Spanx, which offer 3 levels of support.

So, you’ll want them to be tight.  Something to think about when you’re evaluating the fit.

Also, you should probably size up, especially if you are apple-shaped.  If you experience any rolling down at the waist, getting the next size up should fix that.

See the size chart below for more info.

By the way, they also come in petite and tall in plus sizes!  Woot woot!

Outfit Details

Both of these looks are the same with the exception of their top layer.

The first outfit idea features a neutral plaid shacket, the second one has a green plaid boyfriend shirt.

These trendy shirts are layered over a white henley top.

Since the henley has such a deep V neckline, I added layered necklaces.

I just purchased a similar necklace you saw in a recent post from the same brand.

Love it!

For warmth and style, I chose these shearling-trimmed boots.

This crossbody messenger-style bag in tan suede is stunning.

Add some designer shades or a less expensive alternative for a cool look.

A two-toned bracelet stack and large chunky hoop earrings bring everything together.

By the way, these are my favorite chunky hoop earrings.  I have them in every size!

Beauty

As for a lipstick, I recommend going full-on 90s with it.

Choose a warm-toned brown lip color like Mac’s “Whirl.”

(I love that I can be trendy and nostalgic at the same time #MiddleAge)

As for the perfume, Maison Margiela’s “By the Fireplace” is a recent find.

As you well know by now, I am usually all about florals.  But, this warm unisex fragrance has stolen my heart.

A great find for fall and winter, it literally makes you think you are roasting chestnuts at a wood-burning fireplace.

I’m kind of obsessed.

If you’re not ready to try something new at it’s full price tag, perhaps try the Dossier version.

I tried this perfume brand, Dossier, which boasts “designer inspired” fragrances.

I ordered a bunch of their scents.  And so far, I love them!

Although I don’t own their “Woody Chestnut,” which is inspired by Maison Margiela’s “By the Fireplace,” I feel confident recommending it based on my experience with their other scents.
