Dreaming of spring and this plus size green pleated skirt (longer) from the Gibson x International Women’s Day Collection at Nordstrom!   One of the many things I love about this collection is that the pieces are available in sizes XXS – 3X.  This skirt, which was designed by Thamarr Guerrier of Musings of a Curvy Lady, is true to size.  It also comes in a hot pink and a blush leopard print.

While I styled it with some pops of color, I also included some coordinating pieces from the collection below.  Keep in mind, some of them run large.  For example, Thamarr says the tie-back top may need to be sized down.

Keeping color-theory in mind, I decided to add some hot orange accessories, like this scarf, which can be worn in the hair, around the neck, or tied to your favorite bag.  Speaking of bags, how cute is this coral orange satchel?

And you could wear this look to work by swapping the denim jacket for a navy or camel blazer.
