A plus size navy shorts outfit for tropical destinations or those of you living in the South.

Outfit Details

Keeping this look uber-preppy, I went with a statement-making Lilly Pulitzer scarf.

Wear it with a simple plus size white tee and some navy shorts.

Of course, if shorts aren’t your thing, try some plus size navy linen joggers or cotton pants.

Accessories

You might recognize most of the accessories in this plus size navy shorts outfit from previous posts: Part 1 and Part 2 of my plus size preppy resort wear series.  

I included the quintessential preppy earrings- the Tory Burch logo studs.

Then I added some oversized tortoise sunglasses, trendy coin necklaces, and a thick gold link bracelet.

I have this bracelet from Uncommon James and love it!

Plus, the same pink straw clutch from the aforementioned resort wear.

For shoes, I chose some flat and comfortable Tory Burch Miller Cloud sandals.

Miller Sandals

If you watch my Instagram stories, you know that I purchased the Miller Cloud sandals (or here) and they fit my wide feet!

I typically wear a 7.5W, but I got the 7.5 and they fit me perfectly.  

But also, you may have heard that Tory Burch is also offering the classic Miller in “extended width” in select colors. 

If you’ve got wide feet let me hear ya say “Hell yeah!”

Beauty Picks

I also included some hot pink liquid lipstick, Bare Minerals “Shameless.” 

I want to mention that my favorite liquid lipstick in “Indian Pink” or “Sunrise Pink” would also work.

And I threw in my latest scent obsession: Gucci’s Flora Gorgeous Gardenia perfume.

As usual, I am terrible at describing scents, so check this out.

To me, the gardenia is the strongest, but it does have a bit of fruit with it.  (See, I am terrible at describing scents!  LOL)

It isn’t very long-lasting, but it’s a nice light floral scent for spring and summer.
