You might remember this super cute plus size swing dress from my last post in which I styled it into a boho look.

This time around, I wanted to go a little more rock n’ roll. 🤘

It all started with these Valentino Rockstud wedge sandals. Yes, they are crazy expensive!

But, I found some amazing alternatives (with even more linked below).

Bralette

Keeping with the rock n’ roll vibe, I thought it might be cool and a little sexy to show off a pretty strappy bralette*.

A lace racerback also makes a great option.

You can always put a bralette on over a more supportive bra so you can still show off the straps and lace.

And you won’t have to worry about your bra straps showing since that is part of the strappy lacy look!

Or try a harness* over a supportive bra.

Strappy Bras & Bralettes

But, if a strappy bralette isn’t your jam, I always recommend these two strapless bras: the Multi-way Boost or the Red Carpet Convertible (or here).

Accessories

As always, I had to make the look a little bougie with some designer pieces like the iconic YSL Lou crossbody bag.

I finally bought that bad boy! Love it!

Jewelry

As for the jewelry, I went all gold with a little pavé and an edgy twist!

Starting with this stunning layered necklace.

Next, some sexy long chain earrings. These babies will dust your shoulders at 4.6″!

Then I iced out the wrists with this incredible Michael Kors pavé watch.

Then stacked them with some gold and cubic zirconia bracelets with a rocker-chic studded gold leather wrap bracelet.

More gold and pavé crystal in the rings. I am currently wearing this pavé cigar ring. Love it!

But, for this look, stack them on with this ring set and this statement cocktail ring.

Pavoi Jewelry

I’ve talked about PAVOI, on Amazon, many times. And I must say the quality is really great for the prices!

I actually own a bunch of PAVOI pieces now. I started with a couple of their thick gold hoops in the two larger sizes.

I’m quite impressed!

I also picked up two gold cubic zirconia tennis bracelets, the smaller 2mm style and the 4mm style.

They come in multiple length options, which is great if you have larger wrists.

I also got the double ear cuff and this pavé ear cuff. I love to pile them on as well!

Jewelry Care

While I love these inexpensive pieces, they are only plated, so you might need to “baby” them for longevity.

Avoid the obvious: showers, pools, spraying your wrist with perfume while wearing them, etc.

Store them in air-tight plastic bags, if possible. This will keep the plating from damage and tarnishing.

Beauty

I wanted a dark lip with a 90s vibe, so I included a matte liquid lip in “Under My Thumb” by Nars.

My favorite liquid lippies are from Sephora Brand. I found them to be the least drying.

The shade “Blackberry Sorbet” is similar to the Nars pick.

Don’t eyeshadow-shame me, but I included my favorite palette. Ever.

Do I recommend it? Absolutely!

Should anyone spend that much on eyeshadow? F*@k no!

So I included some less expensive alternatives that should be decent quality.

That said, the Pat McGrath Mothership palettes are ahhhh-mazing!

During the last Sephora sale, I purchased Mothership VI and Mothership II.

I wanted Mothership III the most but it’s been sold out for a while.

If you’re trying to treat yourself to something decadent and love to play with eyeshadow, give them a go!
