Plus Size Stay At Home Outfit

A plus size stay at home outfit plus, as always, some small luxuries.  This look is trendy but not so youthful that a stay at home mom can’t pull it off.

Outfit Details

Let’s start with these trendy leggings.  They’re a tye-die acid wash print that is all the rage right now.  And if that isn’t enough trendiness, add a band tee so the kids know you’re cool.  If you’re not into Journey, any black graphic tee will do.

Next, add some shearling slides like these or these.  I noticed a lot of people wearing them on TikTok.  And when I investigated, I discovered UGG make shearling slide slippers!   I am sort of dying to try them!

Complete your SAH “look” with a couple of accessories like trendy acrylic hoop earrings and friendship bracelets.  You remember those right?

Little Luxuries

As always, I threw in some of my favorite items.  First, I love a good tinted lip balm.  Add a little color while you moisturize!  Second, I am in love with the Yeti tumblers.  I have two Yetis and I use them daily.  They will keep your drinks hot or cold for hours and hours!  Third, a good candle makes everything better.  And lastly, a face mist will help keep you feeling fresh and hydrated even if you’ve been stuck in front of your laptop for hours!

Blue Light Blocking Glasses

I have these blue light blocking glasses, which I am currently wearing.  I want to try some trendier styles like these.  So cute!

If you haven’t heard of this latest “trend,” these types of glasses block blue light that comes from screens.  They are supposed to help prevent eye-strain, headaches, and other ill-effects of staring at screens all day.

Blue light can also affect your circadian rhythm.  If you are using screens (tv, computer, phone, etc) at night, theoretically, the blue light, which signals it’s daytime to your brain, can cause delayed sleep and insomnia.  That is my main reason for trying blue light blocking glasses.

I work late at night and have always struggled with my circadian rhythm.  I will try anything that might help.  So far, I think they do reduce my eye-strain and I have noticed less issues falling asleep.  I can’t say it is definitively the glasses, but they can’t hurt.
